The reason why this is happening and they have to do it this way is because the taxi drivers are so corrupt and the system is so corrupt that they need to try to control the money ....

Is it possible they want more arrivals using the airport link ? Are they making to taxi option difficult for this reason. ?

New tourists arriving who have never been here before don't want to take the train as it's messy if you have kids and bags, also they don't know what station is where ? they don't know where there hotel is located in relation to stations.

The airport taxi system at both airports is a big mess !! you should see Don Muang some days .... 4 queues 60-100 people long.

How would a new traveler feel when thats the first thing to greet him .. ??

BANGKOK — The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) says it is investigating a claim that a taxi driver stranded a family of foreign tourists on a highway in Bangkok.

The allegation surfaced after a Facebook user named Surachai Hiranpraditthakul posted a photo that purported to show a foreign couple and toddler being forced to get out of a cab on the expressway because their taxi driver took a wrong turn.

According to Surachai, the family hailed the cab from Suvarnabhumi Airport and asked to go to Rama IX Road, but the driver missed the exit on the expressway and did not want to look for another U-Turn, so he simply forced the passengers to get out.

"Aren't Thai taxis bastards?" Surachai wrote, "A driver kicked foreigners out on the tollway. Friends, don't only read this post. You can freely curse the [driver]."

Welcome to Bang Saen, this is why I left. This place is terrible on the weekends and yes I did complain and it did nothing. The pier area and along the beach is very noisy. You could try but the will probably send you to the tourist police at the information center on beach road. The bull is they want your name and a copy of your passport.

You could call your land lord and tell him you are breaking the lease because of the problem and maybe call him at 2 am when it is noisy. He may not want to lose a good renter. Good luck

we live her for 5y its not a general problem at all, its just our neighbour, that have closed their small bar and taken the customers home......

our landlord cant do much, and if he was going to talk with the neighbours, that would just make the relastionship into....nothing.

we better handle it ourselfs, and choose what to do by our selfs, but i hear you !
