G'day all, I think my situation slightly different, I am semi retired, spending 3-4 months, LOS,have house sankhaemphang, married thai national, I have 2 year temporary motorcycle licence due for renewal june 2017,do i need a letter from immigration ? can i get a 5 year licence this time ?

Love my kawasaki boss, just done a run from cnx to pai ,rained the last hour, which tested my skills ( 1st trip on this bike), return trip no rain, what a blast , enjoyed it immensely,it's a pity there wasn't a fuel injection conversion, from the carburettor , would run, idle smoother i'm sure,

I have a question if anyone can help, can i insure bike in thailand, theft, damage, third party, etc, i have travel insurance when i am in thailand, which just covers me in case of accident, its registered in thai wife's name, i have thai motorbike licence, looking around 50000 baht cover ,

Got my re- entry permit this morning, all up about 1 hour including filling out forms, photocopying etc.good service, thanks to all for the tips.

I got a 2 month visa from Aust, and plan to go overland to Laos via ubon in the 1st two weeks, I know I will only get 2 more weeks upon re-entry, so I will void my 2 month visa,this is the way around it

Because of bad timing my part/ bhudist lent holiday I couldn't devote time to get my re-entry permit, I'm in Pattaya next month, or possibly Cnx , can I get this re- entry permit sorted in 1 day ? Thank you for your help in this matter.

Ok thanks, who is best Kawasaki dealer in Chiang mai area ? What is the general opinion of this bike please, as this particular 1 looks in good condition , apart from carburettor problem, seems like it' misses, lacks power above 60 kph, as usual language detail is the problem, all comments welcome , thank you
