  3. To get a motorcycle licence (no motorcycle endorsement on home country license) does one need to actually bring a bike to the Hang Dong facility for practical test?

There's allways a big group, If you ask someone who has just finished, easier with a 100 baht tip,i'm sure someone will lend bike, that's what i did.

    regards S.S.

  6. I am taking a thai lady to phuket for a short holiday, staying @ salathai resort, patong beach, not having been to patong for 10years, I am asking advice on a quieter open area bar with music maybe, food & drink, a place where you can talk & enjoy good atmosphere, rather than head banging loud beer bars, & drunken ,vomiting young falangs, mind you, 3 decades ago i was one of them myself, my 1st visit to patong beach being 1980,Anyway that's another story, any advice appreciated, cheers

  8. I have recently discovered bangkok airways, mid price between the LCC-thai,on a recent flight to CNX, we were served with a meal, fish curry with rice, totally unexpected on a domestic flight, not to mention the lounges @ either airports, free tea, coffee, internet,They know how to charge on their exclusive routes, but on competitive popular routes they are my choice, I even joined frequent flyer, impressed.

  10. Nothing to do with the crash, god rest their souls, but november last year, I took a friend BKK to PP, phnom penh, see wanted to see sites there,I booked months previously,However , she was ill once there, & I had to cut our 10 day stay (sinoukville included) & head back to thailand after 3 days, the cost of the alteration was near $200 american, more than I paid for the original tickets, so beware people, I loathe to travel with them in future.coffee1.gif
