Meanwhile they have made it incredibly difficult for people to reunite with their families who have been seperated for months. Disgusting.

Don't rely on compression socks, I was wearing a pair and still had multiple clots in my lungs. Forget that in seat exercising and get up whenever possible and keep hydrated.

I have always been susceptible to noise rage.
These are the only things that work for me.

Hi.
A friend needs help in Europe and I need to get some money to him asap. I cannot send more via western union online and moneygram online failed. Can I go to an office in thailand and send cash somehow?
Cheers

Thanks for the advice. I am hoping that the blue book and an internet bill in my name will be good enough. Cheers
Copies of the house book signed by your wife will be accepted. No need for her to go with you.I have to get a residency cert to renew my 5 year driving licence. I will be going alone, can I take the wifes blue house book without her being present?

With mine I pay minor outpatient stuff myself and once I've got about 6 months of receipts I claim it back. Some good info in here. Thanks
This's probably a silly question but do the top end rates cover you for the likes of a major operation and things like Cancer treatment?
Also do you have to pay out the initial cash and claim it back or do the insurance companies cover it themselves from the get-go?
With operations etc we just give the hospital the card and they deal directly with the insurance company.

I use ACS, a bit expensive but very good when we needed them.

Not true. Currently being offered 60% with the option to pay over 10,15 or 20 years. Age is a factor of course. The major banks in Thailand has a limit of 50% mortgage for Thai/foreigner couples. The mortgage has to be payed within 7 years.

A thai acquaintance told my wife she has been living in germany for a year and has just come back to renew her visa for another year. Is this possible with german visas? I thought (and happy to be corrected) you could only get a 90 day visa.

Thanks for the advice. We already have bassinet seats and just came through passport control with just her thai passport.
Regarding that the check in girl said we should hide the uk passport or she will lose her thai one. Is this true? When we come back from uk will thai immigration not wonder why she has no stamp or visa in her Thai passport?

If you don't take any other advice please take this.
Always get checked out by a doc for ANY concerns.
NEVER "man up" and ignore pain.
I manned up about 3 years ago and almost died as a result.
Good luck and good health.

As a family you can use the Thai national lines and in the UK the lines for UK-nationals, you don't have to go through seperate channels.
Thailand is red-lighted in UK for quarantine purposes alongside Brazil, China and US, inexplicable move

It is fair. Thailand has made it almost impossible for people stranded abroad to return so why should they not have a taste of their own medicine
