  1. It is the lane of buses 29 and 510 heading to Chatuchak /Rangsit in the north via Phahonyothin/Payathai road. and you can ask someone in the conductor kiosk.
  2. Bus 166 Extra has a sign on the front windows in English indicating that is going to immigration (Government complex) and stop at the beginning of victory monument bus stop at the beginning of Phayathai road side, first lane, meanwhile the other 166 bus will stop at the end of the third lane of the same bus stop. There are two buses The air condition blue bus cost 22 Baht and the red one cost 10 Baht . If you take the buss that will leave exactly at 08.00 AM, make sure to be there few minutes before and you will get a sit. The same bus will leave Immigration office from the same spot where you dropped, back to victory monument but you may have to wait a little bit.
  3. Well, the officer wrote a note to the landlord and ask him to deliver it, however the landlord insisted of refusing to comply. He only agreed to give a photocopy of his army ID (Major General). After a short conversation with the immigration officer, which seems unhappy with the result, she asked him why he did not notify his return to the immigration next day he arrived and demanded him to pay 800 baht fine. My friend agreed to pay (though he entered in exempt 30 days visa as his retirement visa was cancelled due to his absence for 2 years). Finally the officer accept to change the address and the problem solved. Thanks to everyone who replied trying to help.
  4. My friend wants to change his address, the immigration asked him to fill TM 28, the land lord filled it up in Thai language and signed it, and gave photocopy of his ID but refused to give copy of the house registration. My friend explained that to the officer who also insisted in getting the copy of house registration. What he should do next. for further details he had a retirement visa issued in Chonburi, where he used to spend several months a year and the rest in Bangkok. He left during covid-19 back home for two years, then came back to apply for non-o visa. His money still in the bank untouched and now can't change his address to Bangkok where he has a long term house rent contract. Any body faced similar problem ?
  5. Thank you ubonjoe, but it is not clear when he can apply for the one year ? is it after 45 days of the date or any time before 45 days
  6. A Singaporean friend of mine used to have retirement visa before covid-19 and left Thailand 2 years ago with re-entry permit, but did not come back during covid-19 time. He entered Thailand on 10th or August and got 30 days on arrival. Now he is planning to re-apply for the retirement visa by obtaining non-o visa first. My question is: - applying for the non-o visa is still CW, and how long before his current permit to stay expired - what documents required ? -can he apply for the retirement visa immediately after obtaining the non-o visa or he has to wait for a period of time with the fact that the B-800,000 is still in the bank for over the past 2 years.
  7. In the early sixties, Engelbert, Tom Jones and Cliff Richard were the stars of the world. Young people may not like their songs but the old ones have a sentimental memories of those days. My Thai landlord a retired general in the army in his 72 years of age plays their songs day and night. and I, myself have been one of the biggest fan of them. Insulting the elderly only shows how low you are, and no one asks for your opinion, or pushing you to attend, it's merely information.
  8. I've been filling this form since the reporting requirement became a law. In fact I filled one form in my computer without the date and print it every 3 month as all information still the same. I only change Passport No. when expired and/ or arrival date if I was out of the country. Doing it online now is a lot easier, in fact the immigration office sent me E-mail 10 days prior to the expiration of the current 90 days statement to remind me to apply for a new one, next day I applied and the day after I received the new one by E-mail.
  9. I did it for the first time with Firefox, 5 days ago. Registered and applied in few minutes, received confirmation and printed application by E-mail immediately. Two days later received the printable report.
  10. Actually this is her nick name and it is wrong too because it is LaLisa
  11. Tiger wood is American citizen, porn in America and his father is American, he never been to Thailand except one time to play the golf. He has no connection with his mother's family nor with any Thai people. The Government granted him Citizenship, hopping to use him in promoting tourism, but unfortunately he refused to discuss it and referred them to his manager, which means no free services. Liza on the other hand born in Thailand and studied art and dancing in Korea where she joint the famous Korean band. Liza helped her community and promoted Thailand name all over the world. Being so occupied by your work doesn't mean you don't love your country. Give her a break, she deserve it.
  12. Unfortunately stage four means it is over and there is no way to stop the spreading. Usually he has four to six month left, but could last up one painful year with aggressive treatment and being young Ana healthy. Nevertheless there is always the hope of a miracle. Wish him the best.
  13. I wonder, why Singapore is in the list? when its official language is English ???? Canada have two official languages English and French and not listed although many French speakers do not speak English in Quebec.
  14. Pantip plaza, Pratunam under renovation but most of the repair shops are working and excellent. They do the job under your wash and charge fixed rate for the service. try one of them.
