  1. Vaccine passports are precursors to Digital ID wallets. It's not about the vaccine, it's not about the virus, it's about your data. What people have to understand is that any other functionality can loaded onto the platform. It will be able to geolocate you everywhere you go. Your credit history will be included along with you medical and health history. It will have the power to turn off your life, or turn on your life, to let you engage in society or be marginalized. The choice is yours, so choose wisely.
  2. I don't mind, you can try "expose" my falsehoods all you want. This is what you guys are getting paid for after all. 9059 posts since Oct 2020, really? Are you here on an expat package or were you hired locally?
  3. My PayPal doesn't have an option to add funds. But I can receive them and have them transferred into my Thai bank.
  4. No, the vendor is in Indonesia. Seems the only way is going to be a bank transfer which I think is ridiculous considering the cost the product is less than 150 baht.
  5. I'm trying to make a payment to a vendor who only accepts Wise and PayPal. Is it possible to transfer THB from my Thai bank to either one of these two platforms?
  6. Thank you so much this really helps. I do have some follow up questions if you don't mind? 1. My Thai wife will be the sole proprietor of the business. Will this structure be sufficient? 2. Can the physical premises be in a residential home, rented condo, or temperature controlled storage facility? 4. What are the costs in relation to FDA product submission and licensing?
  7. Nothing has been stopped. This is only for planning purposes. We will be importing dry herbs and spices repacking and selling them on a commercial basis. We will not be exporting at this time.
  8. Yes I am on a extension of stay based upon marriage. I want to avoid going down the 51/49% partnership with 1 million baht of registered capital route.
  9. My Thai wife has a small restaurant under her name. She's the only employee and clears approximately 50,000 baht per month She pays her taxes every year and contributes into social security every month. I'm a Chef by trade and want to start helping her in the kitchen. Can she hire me as an employee, and if so would I be able to get a work permit?
  10. I'm in need of a FDA Import/Export License. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer that can help me with the paperwork?
  11. Eww, with so many shedders coming from around the world it's only matter before there's new outbreak. Enjoy while you can.
  12. I'm already covered under section 39 of the Thai SSA. Will I be required to obtain Covid insurance when applying for my Non-O visa extension based on marriage?
  13. Update: Wife and friends returned to CNX from BKK his evening. All were given swabs and told to stay home for the next 48 hours. MOPH said if there's a positive test they'll be in contact by phone. They were also told negative tests will require NO quarantine.
  14. Hi guys! Me and a group of friends will be in Bangkok next week, and we're looking for some good lunch and dinner buffets. Any suggestions?
  15. As far as I'm aware, all unvaccinated passengers are required to test AND quarantine at every destination (upon arrival) if coming from a red zone.
  16. A report as a vaccinated passenger. You don't know the procedure they make you do if your unvaccinated. Proof of vaccination is only required if you have it. For unvaccinated folks they can still let you board the plane, but need to swab and quarantine upon arrival in Buri Ram.
  17. I believe that is if only if you're flying into Phuket or Krabi, I'm not 100% sure. According to the following link it seems that even unvaccinated international travelers will be allowed into Phuket as long as they do quarantine in a designated ASQ hotel. https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/thailand-travel-restrictions Not sure if this website is reliable or not. --------------------------------- As for flying domestically throughout Thailand, my wife and her friends flew into Bangkok from Chiang Mai yesterday with ThaiSmile without a hitch. They were all unvaccinated, and didn't have to take any Covid tests. The only link I could find showing that you do not need to be fully vaccinated to enter Bangkok is on the following link. https://www.thaismileair.com/en/newsupdates/news_2992 I also had a chance to drive down to the airport a few days ago and ask the supervisors from Bangkok Airways, Vietjet, and NokAir is they required anything else besides my passport/Thai drivers license to fly into Bangkok, and they all said no. Here is another link that explains the restrictions and policies regarding travel into a particular province, unfortunately it's all in Thai. https://www.moicovid.com/ข้อมูลสำคัญ-จังหวัด/
  18. You can travel domestically anywhere in Thailand without being vaccinated She will only be required to show her Thai identification when she's checking in. Nothing will be needed when she arrives Don Mueang. You do not need to show anything to fly into Bangkok domestically from anywhere in Thailand, excluding Songkla and Narathiwat .... for now.
  19. The OP is asking if an individual could or should be double vaccinated upon entering Thailand. And I said, if Asia follows what the European Union Commission has done in regards to it Digital COVID Certificates the answer is, NO. It's ridiculous for you all think that only vaccinated people are going to be allowed in. Stop dreaming, it's not go happen. At this present time being vaccinated is not be a pre-condition to enter or travel regionally in Thailand.
  20. Thank you! But I live here in Thailand so the quarantine for me is not an issue. If I do have travel out of the country, something I haven't done in over 16 years, I'll make sure to get the best quarantine hotel money can buy. Stop making things seem worse than then actually are.
  21. Well, I know firsthand that they are allowing folks to fly who are unvaccinated without an ATK or PCR test more than 72 hours before flying. I just flew from BKK-CNX with ThaiSmile and I was tested upon arrival and asked to quarantine for 14 days. Before I bought the ticket I made sure to ask several airlines in person if they were going to let me on the plane. They all said the same thing, it's not the airline that's requiring the test it's the province that they're flying into. Unless things have changed in the past 72 hours, the article is inconsistent with what's really happening on the ground. I will ask wife's sister later and find out if something has changed. She's a ticketing agent for Bangkok Airways and should be able to clarify what's going on.
