Returning to Thailand start of sept but have to meet my son whos not arriving till a week later,7 nights is to long for me in BKK, going to samui with him later and maybe Phuket.I would like to have a few days somewhere close enough to go back and meet him from the airport,do not want to go to Pattaya.Any suggestions where i could spent 3/4 nights not to far from bkk, i also don't want another domestic flight as we'll be taking a few when he arrives. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

  9. Thats a good deal 10 rai for 500000 is it rice fields, and how long ago was it,will ask the the wife to take a trip to the local amphur office to enquire about the going rate for 8 rai, its on the main road through the village.

  10. Thanks for the replies, will take them on board. Its 8 rai for1.3 million baht 162,500 per rai its not too bad, considering its on the main road through the village and its not rice fields,we'll see how much the owners will come down, they may shift a little on the price, hope so anyway.

  11. Theres 8 rai of land going for 1.3 million baht, good location although it is inside an expanding village, its on the main road within the village with a lot of passing traffic and i know its only a matter of time before the price will go up more, when this location will be more sought after, but i'm wondering in these hard times is the price over the top or reasonable, it is not rice fields, theres no problem to build on it,and can even be separated into individual plots and sold of.Any views on this would be most welcome. Its off the Udon to Sakon road about 12 clicks from Big C.
