NEW YORK (Reuters) - An old malaria treatment that has been tried with some success against the new coronavirus and was touted by U.S. President Donald Trump at a news briefing earlier on Thursday is in short supply as demand surges amid the fast-spreading outbreak.

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), which maintains a list of drugs in shortage independent of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's list, added the generic malaria drug hydroxychloroquine to its list on Thursday. Four out of eight manufacturers of the drug are currently in shortage, it said.

Don't tell me this drug is chlorine based

  2. A saying comes to mind :

    Stupid is as stupid does

if you can read I did add guidelines.

Not only that I also mentioned the controversy that arose in medical circles. Imo the opposition mainly meant to protect self-interest. If I were a medic I would ashamed about the medicine as is practiced. I condemn the practice of big pharma.

My advice mentions the danger, tells people how to avoid that. So how the .... can you spin this to look like this an idiots advice.

As for unscientific who are you to decide about that ?  Remember the great inventors from the past. They were all ridiculed, but history proved them right.

As for my background that is none of your business. I wrote you condemn without knowing.  And ... doing is knowing. Mr Waldorf.

As for shaming and blaming :. We will see about that !

  3. I introduced a rough and drastic remedy for a virus that is threatening society. Without any of you knowing my background I am being ridiculed.

    Shame on you !

Despite all naysayers please remember this method when 'push comes to shove'.

It will also be my last contribution to this forum.

No, because I prefer to take on board the advice of respected health authorities over that of a single person who is displaying an alarming ignorance of safety and biology.

The authorities are lying. Chlorine is at basis of all medicine that handle severe infections.

The problem is 1. It can not be patented 2. It is really really cheap.

So the medical society is hiding the facts. They rather sells you a complex molecule in a product that can be patented than give us a free choice.

My advice find your own place in the world, stand on your own feet, make your own decisions instead of following a sheepish crowd.

Ozone is poisonous. It attacks the lungs, and is responsible for many diseases such as emphysema.

The OP's advice it is somehow good to breathe is completely irresponsible.

Did you ever try it ? I did and still do. With the proper mind set the body can adapt to higher frequencies.

If you not agree then i suggest please

An interesting article on UV ozone generation https://www.oxidationtech.com/ozone/ozone-production/uv-lamp.html

Personally, I'd rather use a corona discharge unit, more ozone production and no potentially risky UV exposure.

find a place in the bush bush because 5G is being rolled out.

Yes i agree Crossy, enclose the unit so uv light will not emerge.

And, if it did, it would not freely bond with O2.

Apparently you did not read my text with an open mind.

It is the same all over. The chlorine atom turns into CL2 inside the virus-cell and immediately reacts with its vital system, killing the virus immediately.

  7. A batch of 12 units was just delivered to me. I will make one unit for each family. I hope this will inspire people to have a proactive mind towards the corona virus. I do a burn-in for one hour. I have 14 units active around me right now. The room is ventilated, so don't worry ????

That still doesn’t say what’s inside, if it’s one of the tubes I show then it is significantly dangerous to your eyes

Lick it with your tongue. I am sure it will surprise you.

My solution is not for fear mongers. It is meant as a suggestion to make a well informed decision about tackling the spread of infections in an affordable way.

Its UV light that could kill viruses, smells, but its not Ozone.

    regards worgeordie

Actually no. It is the hunger for oxygen that makes the virus rip off one atom oxygen, trading it in for a free chlorine. That chlorine is the cause of death for that virus. So O3 kills viruses very effectively. A similar action occurs in the much debated cure for cancer (MMS miracle mineral supplement)

  10. @chipbudd really ?  Do you have solutions to contain spreading the Corona virus or only want to comment the obvious ?

This contraption is not conform any electric safety standard, but ... It sure as hell disinfects.

Please select your choice of fancy ozone spreaders, priced 2k+ thb. This one costs about 300thb for 2 simple ozone generators plus some wood, 2 switches and a plug plus electric wire.

Please add any protection you want plus some filtering.

    Be my guest ????

  11. A few years ago I made a small contraption to add a small ozone generator to a household fan.

It is used to desinfect our rooms for rent on a regular basis.

It might help stop spreading all kind of flu related infections.

I will upload some pictures and a guideline for usage.

    Guideline :

Ozone is highly effective to 'handle' viruses. It is no magic. And it has it's own precaution, restrictions, side effects.
Ozone is generated during the discharge of electric energy as in lightning. It can be created with an electric circuit that creates high voltage. The discharges of that voltage creates O3, ozone.
    1. Precaution, use it moderately.
    2. Restrict to private use. Vacate the area, run the procedure for one hour and resume activity.
Or keep a constant flow of O3 in a ventilated room.
    3. Side effect. O3 is a powerful way of dealing with viruses. They get killed instantly. When staying / breathing in an area with a sufficient amount of O3 will bring the ozone in the bloodstream. It will start its work immediately, leaving  'dead virus material' in the bloodstream. That causes a light headache, it is an indication it is working.
Another side effect is that O3 will effect most  anaerobic life. So people with a normal flu will get similar results (and side effect).
Drink water, so the body gets enough fluid to transport the residues out of the system (by peeing).
Anyone with a little feeling for diy and electrics can build a simple system cheaply (under 200thb if you have some wood, electric cable, a plug).
Electric discharges create a spectrum of radiowaves, nothing serious but it may interfere with sensitive receivers like TV sets (causing disturbance on the screen). Just move the ozone unit a bit away.

My Suoer D600D GTI is still working and only costs 2,650bht from Lazada.

27.3 units from my one panel so far this month, lost 1 day to rain, and another 1/2 day to clouds.

The panel was getting a bit dusty so I gave it a wipe today, one day I'll get around to adding a second panel.

Just got my bill, 271 units 1,075bht.

Do you have power cuts, while using the solar system to full capacity ?

  13. Just my 2 cents. Government officials have the power to decide things differently. You can check that.

I have many encounters with good and bad endings. I found on closer observations my own attitude on these occasions to have led the officer to decide against me.  I can group my attitude in different classes.

    1. ignorant of a specific rule, but completely convinced i was right.

    2. knowingly bending a rule, but hitting the 'wrong' person.

    3. having an attitude, being angry at something. Thai have a keen nose on disturbances of the emotion.

    4. tell me another option ????

They are formally denying entry, and using a reason under section 12 using a "Legal Notice". You are the one claiming illegality, so the onus is on you/others to prove your claims.

It is not my interpretation of 12 (2). It is my explanation of the TIB's use of 12 (2).

It's a FACT that the system can't keep count. It is a FACT that they tried a limit in the past and stopped it because manual counting was not practical. Given those facts they are unlikely to use that method again.

You clearly haven't got a clue about databases either. I've been designing and writing database code for 20+ years and modifications are not always "simple" unless catered for at the design stage!

It's been a few years since I was shown the front-end of the immigration system, I've never seen the back-end, and there are at least three separate databases in use. But I doubt the time and expense required to - if possible - modify the system to keep count of entries would be worth it, especially when other methods of controlling entries are working.

It is just a matter of collecting the tm6 and tm7 forms with their issued date. To me that might be solved with a SQL querty. That means no changes to the system, just a dynamic count.

  15. Great work, Crossy.

I am still studying the diagram.

In this house (samroiyod) I have only a breaker switch, so I will be looking for a RCBO construction and a secondary RCBO for the guesthouse.

In Nong Phai I have an different situation, no genset is planned for this area. But the power is coming in the garage into a old-fashion switchbox,

then distributed to the kitchen (separate house), the pump house and the mainhouse (to be built end of this year).

    Thanks,

    Leo.
