    T.V. Dinner parties...LOLlaugh.png

dont knock it....when you are in your 80s in the residential care home, unable to get out of your "high seat" chair, all your mates will each have one, with differing patterns to discuss. Now thats a TV dinner party.

Raised edges to retain the spilt soup, and big enough to hold a 24 piece jigsaw.

It will come to all soon enough, sadly it seems the OP has got there already.thumbsup.gif

maybe the op wants to help an elderly person in a wheelchair with mobility problems to have a proper dinner

  2. hi,

i will be flying to europe from cm international,

i will be doing the immigration procedure in cm and then have 4 hours wait in bangkok sauvanaphum

is there a smoking room available in the transit area?

i remember when i came to bgk from europe, exiting the plane i could have a ciggy before entering the domestic transit.

    thanks

  3. This place is located at the back entrance/exit road that leads to Kad Suan Kaew. You can take a short cut to it by entering the soi at Huay Kaew Residence apartments of Huay Kaew road before the Shell, if you take a car, there is a passing fee, no fee for bikes.

Been meaning to try it, how's the prices there? Everytime i pass by i see someone with a laptop, maybe they have free wifi too.

the prices are normal.. i think there also is a 180B lunch menu, pizza (orpasta) + salad

  4. Colosseo in located on the soi which brings to Central KaoSanKeo from the back

i have been there and was really impressed, for chiangmai this is the best place for nonexpensive italian food in a non pretentious place

try the spaghetti vongole, or the spaghetti seafood, the best in town for sure

pizza is quite small , same as other places..

ceasar salad is really good.. not the typical sauce that you would expect, but a very good variation of it

    excellent place!

  5. Cathay Pacific (CX) is instituting Premium Economy soon.

The problem with most premium economy seats is that even if it is less crowded and you get a whole row, with individual armrests you often cannot lift them to lay down across 3 seats. If I was going to pay for an upgrade, I would only do it to Business Class.

what you are saying about the armmrest is true, had a whole row for myself with eva and couldnt lift them.

but a premium econ ticket is about 47k to amsterdam, a business ticket is about 100k

  6. Sorry, can't help for your area but in Buriram I have been quoted 3,800 Baht. It is likely that the guy will drill to 60 metres. I expect to pay circa 11,000 Baht in all to include a Lucky Star pump + piping.

CM may be totally different but this may provide a ballpark figure

In Hang Dong District, November 2010, 98 meters deep, 800 Thai baht per meter, 78,400 baht. That's just for drilling. I chose a closed, submersible pump system. Add to your costs: drill permit, water testing, submersible pump (in Thai: "samoet"), chlorine tank, filter tank, two storage tanks, and a pump. Total (including drilling) is about 191,000 Thai baht.

so,as i understood, you need a permit for drilling deeper than 30m. how much dows it cost and how do you know if youre drilling more than 30?

also, what kind of water testing did you do and where?

  7. has anybody gone to immigration these days? is the booking system still effective?

    .

I was there to extend my marriage visa on Tues 25th Oct and all was well. I was told by the people on the first counter on the left(by the main entrance), just to approach the desk at the appointed time and they asked me just to confirm my name with the booking they had. I didn't realise they wanted a printout of the booking and just showed them the email on my phone; they asked me to bring a printout next time. There were just the odd one or two things that I'd forgotten to do but the lady wasn't upset and just ask me to copy a couple of things. On the whole very good, a big Thumbs Up for the online system.rolleyes.gif

thanks Wentworth, ill make sure to bring the printout when i go
