Tried to uninstall u-torrent using control panel but it just won't go away.
It goes through the uninstall process fine, but when I try and download a tracker using Bit Che, bad old u-torrent comes back from the dead
How to kill it?
-
I noticed that it slows to a crawl as soon as I launch u-torrent and before it even starts to download anything
-
The upload was set to 22 and changed to 20. As expected it made no difference
Download was and still is unlimited
UPnP was and still is on
DHT is now disabled (was on)Made no difference
Google sharing enabled or disabled makes no difference
Global max number of connections was and is 130
Harddrive is large
Still no other web functions when u-torrent on open
-
You will have to move the legs up in the trees but be aware that this changes the geometry. Plus the rear will lower more than the front which screws up the geometry even more. You may wish to try a lowered seat before resorting to this mod.
If you do go with relocating the rear shock, cut the stand off and weld on a new foot
Tony tells me that YSS is introducing/has a new shock for the Versys that has adjustable ride height

When I run U-Torrent my other web functions virtually stop. I can do other tasks, but nothing web based.
I do not see a priority function in u-torrent
PC is an Intel dual core, 2.6 GHz, 2 GB RAM so should have sufficient power for this simple task
Any suggestions

Richco Motorsports in Chiangmai has been building some nice ones and written up in the local bike mags.

If you are intent on lowering the rear, I would look at the optional gel seat from Kawi, or a custom local seat before resorting the changing the geometry
If this will not do it for you and your heart is set on a Versys, then relocating the mounting point for the rear shock as per this kit is the only practical solution. As you are aware, this creates geometry issues, and backing off the preload to lower the front end is not a brilliant solution to the problem.
You will need to live with the geometry change.

The event is tomorrow and we have too much swag for Mrs Hoghead to carry in one truck. Anyone coming with their pickup that would be willing to carry some stuff?

The event is tomorrow and it seems that we have too much swag to fit in my pickup. Is anyone planning to attend with their truck and willing to carry some stuff

Just a reminder that this event is Friday
BTW we are looking for Sponsors for the upcoming year, so please visit our website at
www.chiangmaitoyride.com if you can see it in your heart to help these kids
-
I would suggest a new entry point for their "entrance fee", and take it somewhere else of do it myself.
-
Come out to the Chiangmai ToyRide Feb 20 for more of the same

A lot of bikes over the last 40 years of road riding and currently in CM I have a Harley Dyna Sport, Royal Enfield 500 Bullet, and a Kawi Versys.
-
Cheap in either sense of the word is not what I am looking for, and if it means importing my own to get something good than that is what I need to do.
Buy expensive and cry once. Buy cheap and cry a bit longer it it causes me to drop the bike
Thanks for the feedback
-
It is not a rocket my any means and the only reason I am considering an off brand. All the same if NFG then no matter how available or inexpensive it is just not worth it
Anyone have any experience with them?
-
Any experience with V-Rubber tyres?
Looking at their model VRM-011
I need new ones for my Royal Enfield and the 19" wheel rear gets the usual mai mee from the name brands
Also wondering what their Harley sizes are like as neither Bridgestone nor Pirelli can supply me right now.

As guessed an air leak or other carb issue
In future try spraying carb cleaner or some other flammable stuff(in Canada I used ether based starting fluid but be careful not to blow the head off) over suspected areas when running. if it speeds up, there is your leak
Thanks for sharing the shop name.

I want to use Garmin maps for GPS navigation on my 3GS phone.
I am aware of TomTom GPS navigation, but is anyone aware of a Nav app that uses Garmin maps?
