I'm currently contracting (IT) for a company in the UK using my own limited company. I tend to pay myself dividends as it's more tax efficient.

My wife is Thai and we have for many years talked about moving to LOS and this might now be possible given I work fully remotely anyway and the client is interested in a long term play, either on a contract or permanent basis.

Here comes my question: what are my options, shall I set up a ltd cny in Thailand in my wife's name as main shareholder and pay ourselves dividends, or use an umbrella cny? I would be based in Thailand more than 183 days per year so domiciled there.

Hi, sorry for late reply. Maybe as people suggested you can find stuff online, there are also excellent tutorials on youtube. The trick is to find a format / channel that your son likes and is not too fast (some are really excellent). It's probably best to get your son to chose the support material as opposed to chosing for him (even if he does not chose the best one but choses one he likes he's halfway there). Good luck

Personally I tried free lists etc for iptv in the past and it never works for long, you end up wasting your time for the sake of saving 50 euros. Best free system for sport is arenavision but even then you still get occasional buffering and it's a pain to manoeuvre through the dodgy pop-ups etc ????

You are welcome ☺️. About Android boxes it's worth buying good one I found out , I bought one for my mum from AliExpress and often the colour goes orange for no reason.. the best one is Xiaomi. If you buy a cheap one might as well use a Raspberry Pi as it's just the same thing packaged in fancy plastic if you see what I mean..

About internet speed needed 30-50mb is enough for full HD. Here in the UK internet providers have started blocking IPTV so I use VPN, streaming full HD with speed below 50 and it all works like a charm. My provider is top notch though..

Hi Mavideol, if you are using a Samsung (like me) it probably means you cannot install many app as it's all restricted (Tizen OS) so that leaves you with little choice ; you can mock around with regions etc but still not many option. The only smart thing about Samsung Smart TVs is how they can block you...On my TV i can only use SmartIP TV as you mention (cost £5 ish) but despite paying I found out that it keeps buffering i.e. when i try the same content using another App on my computer or android box it works fine. I thought it was my provider but in fact not ! So overall i dont recommend Smart IPTV ; best option in my opinion is to plug in a fire stick or android box and use IPTV Smarters or Tivimate... if you plug in a Wintosh PC best option is 'Simple TV'.. ????

Hi, my wife and kid went to Thailand in march and were expecting to stay there only 3 weeks, but because of the pandemic they ended up staying there as the situation is much better there (our kid is autistic so he has more space there). They entered using their UK passport instead of the Thai ones (they both have UK/Thai passports). Although until now there was a grace for foreigners to stay in Thailand, this is coming to an end and immigration office are telling her to maybe do a visa run... she is a Thai national. My question is a) is there a way to correct this..what can we do b) will she get an overstay fine when she leaves even though she is Thai? the immigration bureau is not very helpful so we don't know what to do. Hi, my wife was born in Thailand but she has lived many years with me in the UK and her Thai passport expired a while ago ; she did not bother renewing it yet but due to corona situation we are thinking it might be better to go there before it gets bad here in the UK and we can still travel.  We just feel with the hot weather flu is less likely to strive (that's what many EU governments hope also). I guess if we decide to go we'd need to go in the next couple of weeks before it gets bad here so my question was : given the urgency what is the best solution for us? can we travel over there on 30 day visa with UK passport and then try to extend our visa for 90 days or more?

Personally I use ibvpn, speed is excellent and they also provide smart dns. I can stream uk/ us / all eu countries without any problem...u can get a free trial with them

I agree I would use a cable first and check speed / see if it streams ok. If it does then u know it's due to channel interference or something like that. U can then fix the issues. It might just be that your provider is throttling your speed also.. have u done a glassnost test?

Hi, can I ask how good is stalker? I was considering it when they started to charge but ive read on a dedicated forum that the service was unreliable and buffering a lot, especially for watching football.

At present I use acestream, I find it more reliable than kodi.

Ibvpn have a dns service that tricks sky go. But personally I don't even bother with sky go even though I have my mates login.... I watch all the games in hd quality better than tv...On cbns and fox sports.. better quality and no vpn needed...

You could just buy a banana pi from China on ebay. I paid 30 quid for mine, installed android, kodi + more eg vpn, iplayer,tv from my home country etc...works like a charm..

The only drawback is at present one needs yo use ethernet but for me it's no probs

So as promised last night here is a snapshot from Kodi with FTV guide enabled and watching NAT GEO WILD and the show Monster Fish ironic the show is about catfishing in Thailand this morning. You can see the stream bottom right. When watching it is full scream, I just have it set like that for photo op. If anyone has questions on how to do this please let me know. You could also consider buy to let properties. If you take a long term and can get a mortgage you could maybe buy one or two in Thailand or wherever you can afford and just wait for them to be paid off by people who rent them...
