Note to Thai people if you travel to Australia, UK etc will you drive with no licence and or drunk? Good luck on that one

Tiago you really have put yourself in a very awkward situation. Firstly you should not have touched this bag it could have held explosives, you should have left it alone and advised airport security or staff. There are warnings in many countries about this. In saying this I hope you are ok and have learnt  your lesson.

3.   good to know theres guys like you around to help out bar owners....... Seems there  a large number of US around..... Look at all the Bars that are open and have girls there for the guys who want a girls company....... If you are in a lady Bar and paying too much that you feel you need to make your drink last 'an hour' and don't have enough to tip and are having your drink checked every couple minutes...... I suspect the bar knows you (or at least knows 'your kind') and are giving YOU a hint that THEY DON'T NEED YOUR KIND.

I must admit that there are some really 'Bad Bars' and are too 'pushy'........ BUT in retrospect you must face a fact that there SO MANY MORE cheap ass farangs trying to have pleasures without paying (Trying to get a free ride, if not a 'senior discount')..... So many more than the Bad Bars.......

The OP received this BAD SERVICE in 3 different Bars......... Doesn't that suggest something to YOU...... It DOES to ME.........

It's MY opinion (and possibly others) that girls are in lady bars for a reason and do have an attraction to some who will spend their money...... If it doesn't fit your requirements then you can sit in a restraunt, or on the steps of a 7-11..... which ever fits your needs (or that you can afford to pay for)...... Many of these bars are tired of giving 'free rides' may be a decent summary of the OP............

And one Last comment..... We only heard the OP's side of the story.... NOT THE (3) BAR's SIDE of the story Think a bit more, if you will......

 

 

Yes I agree with your comments. There will always be the odd pushy bar. But most I have sat in from Swampy to Hua Hin Phuket etc haven’t experienced this.i was drinking one time in Pattaya in I think it is called Armageddon bar in soi lk metro. Football was on a few punters in not crowded. A farang came in sat down to watch. Lady asked him what he wanted to drink. He waved her away. The boss of the bar asked her again to ask him the same. No reply so the boss told him to leave. After all the bar has to pay for power cable etc plus bar staff.

I retired in 2011 relocated to los.with a Thai lady that I met in Aus lived in aus for 13 years.after 1 year in Thailand and her heading off to hundreds of temples. I did a few with her but not as many as her. She meets a Thai lad. So after catching her out. Booked her on a one way ticket back to Australia.stayed alone for 6 months. Then met a lovely Thai lady we got on extra well. Then late 2016 she has a bleed on the brain never really recoved. Sadly she passed away in January this year.i think about her a lot. So sad but life can be so cruel. 

Great effort get rid of all the people who have entered and overstayed. Many more I feel must be glancing over their shoulder. What no picture of this culprit and the police pointing the dreaded finger?

Yes I agree some bars are a bit pushy. I found that in Hua Hin a few times so I check bin and move on. I still find more annoying than the above is bloody annoying kids flogging rubbish flowers. One after another. You still see them at 2am. Valentine’s Day stay well away

No sympathy from me on this one. The Thai lads have been doing this crazy stunt for years.

Geekay did u go to Thailand on a one way ticket? If so why.or did u have a return ticket that expired with your hospital stay. If so surely a letter from the dr or hospital would have Ben good enough

Just a quick question I did have a o/a retirement visa for a few years but had to return to Australia for health reasons. Got my aged pension now served my 2 year travel ban and I am good for wheels up. So am leaving 27 October returning 26 November. Question is do I need a tourist visa? I don’t think I do but some people are saying I do.
