  1. Just last week I was on a beach in Cambodia , there were a couple of town employees walking up and down the whole time I was there , what were they doing ??? GARBAGE PICKING . :o

probably getting aluminium cans for recycling

  2. do you use a stick on type suction pad if you want to carry a passenger then tom ? those open belt drive primaries are fairly expensive , but they look good alright ...how old is the softail by the way ? tom you bike looks similar to a one they did a few years ago called blue tattoo ...they are trying to sell that golden yellow bike for some time now, some nice engraveing on it...how much is the price down to now ? they were looking 2 million for it over 3 years ago,,,

Hello Barry, yes i am going to use a removable pad than. Thats the problem, the open belt drive costs from 2500$ up and i dont know right now if there are problems with dirt and water appears. You are right, i have seen the blue tattoo also. This bike is more extrem customized with customframe as well, as i have kept the original one.

Do you know any activities in the bike scene in Thailand for this year?

    Greetings

    Tom

  3. go down to the beach at sattahip ,you pay a toll to the army ...go to the second toll ..real nice there and the army keep it real clean ..a real jewel from pattaya ,,mostly thai people there ,not many farangs know about this place ..so keep it quiet lol

Yep have read some of these posts. Also sad that they are actually charging for upkeep on the beaches etc and then have very deep and long pockets !!!

Have been down to the "Army toll" and was turned away even after I showed them my Thai driving licence. Maybe will try again to get in there as these have been highly recommended.

why were you turned away...sounds strange .????????????

  4. Freakin' annoying if you're a hotel owner!

I don't mind toiletries, we put them there to be used...

But remote's from televisions, A/C's and dvd players, the dvd players themselves, and the worst, towels. Disappear like there is no tomorrow :D

you would love me as a guest then, I normaly take my own stuff when staying in a hotel. :D

You bring your own remotes??? Don't forget to inquire on the brands needed when making your reservation :D:D:wai:

i must remind the wife to pack the remote before we go on holiday the next time were going :o

  6. Have you got anything in writing that states he owes you money and is it signed and certified by witnesses? If not, you haven't got a chance since it's your word against his.

If you have, go to a Lawyer and make your complaint. Sometimes, a visit from the Lawyer solves your problem as the person realises you mean business and this problem isn't going to go away without a re-imbersement.

I have signed/dated receipts and a contract of sale..

you should be ok then as proof .......go to him and threaten him first of your intentions and maybe he will give in before you have to get police involved..or a few heavies might do the job too

  7. Barry Bike.May i ask you two question's.did you use the tins exchange or colour shop fof art work, and question no. two,Are you from wexford by any chanse

dyna bob ....sean egan painted the bike for me ...ya im from wexford, ireland ...you probably guessed from the number plate i suppose..do you know wexford ya ???? you were saying you want to put on a screaming eagle tyre ,i had one on and fell off the bike in the wet one night going to a rally ,,those harley tyres are crap in the wet, really dangerous .i use sports bike tyres on it now ,some diference ,and harley tell you the 180 fits as a kit but its really a hard walled tyre and pulls in on the rear wheel ...the rear wheel on mine now is 5.5 inch wide and i didnt have to go near swingarm or primary ,i just got a few spacers made up..i can post closer pics of paint job for u to see ,it has to be seen up close to be appreciated..it was real clear but i didnt like that much and i sprayed a red candy over it last year..looks better now.........cheers barry

  8. hi tom you were saying the bike is not finished and you plan on changing more .......what else are you doing to the bike ???

hi barry, well the cables are changed against stainless steel ones, footpegs with builtin winkers for passenger(sometimes important - not the winker!), a Hypercharger from Küryakyn (+infinity streamliner), a digital Speedometer from motogadget and some small parts like screws and covers (chrome).

...and later maybe a open Belt Drive.

    Greetings

    Tom

  9. To Barrybike,

    In the picture.

Your front wheel look really small compared to the rear wheel. Make the bike look out of sync. What size is it?

the 2 wheels are 17 inch stainless steel (no rust) 80 spoke tts from germany... i wont say the cost (coz u probably wont believe me)

200 section rear tyre ,130 on the front ..its probably the low profile thats on the front tyre 60mm, the tyre is nearly wore now and im putting a 70mm on it by 140 ..should look chunkier

  10. i think a little different myself hence the confusion comment. As for HD bkk a complete waste of space, his latest offering will not trade in a bike he did not sell, and when they have a display at a bike show,if you want to buy a t-shirt wait until the end they reduce them by about 40% .HD MALAYISA are great and they will do a good price on accessories BB.What you ridi'n a softail prehap's

ive a 06 dyna street bob ..heres a few pics

  11. Agreed BB you make your own,i know guy's that spent as much on accessories as they paid for cycle.I bought my street bob because of the 1950's look,it was love at first .I fitted oil cooler, phyton exhaust's,detatchable saddlebag's,highway pegs for the long run's,kept the mid's for the handeling when in a hurry and a pillion to be removed tomorrow.I like her bog and that is my choice and as you said no to are alike, but all of them are special.LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES. almost forgot the power commander

yes i paid the same on acessories as the bike too.madness but its like a bug once you start you see something else that you would like to change.but sure if we were all the same the world would be a boring place wouldnt it

  12. customised harleys are the business..........end of story ...every sports bike with a fairing look the same.now steetfighters are a whole lot different altogether......no 2 harleys are the same ,they are all individualised..buying the harley is only the DEPOSIT....its what you put into it after that what changes it......alot of sports bike riders wont admit is they havent the cash for a customised harley....so they get off on slagging harley owners and their bikes

  13. tom that bike is the business ..what size is back tyre 240-280..did hot rod do all the work ...?did you give them a doner bike first or did they do this for you from scratch ?

yes barrybike, hot rod did all the work. The back tyre is 250, fit up to 260. I bought a normal Softail at hot rod shop, then Khun Ed gave me a bunch of catalogs and after choosing which parts to order he started customizing(with parts in stock). He is doing everything great like the costumer is asking for, as i want the seat 'build in' and not attached on top for example.

    Greetings

    Tom

yes tom the seat built in with the stretch tank looks really good ...are they after moving to their new shop yet ?? barry
