  1. I'm planning to cross from Mukdahan to Savannakhet on the evening of Wednesday March 13th. My flight gets in to Nakhon Phanom at 16:25/4:25pm, and a taxi from the airport to the bridge takes about two hours, so I should arrive at the bridge by 7 pm. I know that the bridge is open till 22:00 daily, but will the Thai and immigration posts on the bridge still be open at 19:00-19:30? Anyone done an evening crossing there in the last year? I would spend the night in Muk and cross in the morning, except I have to be in Savannakhet by 21:00 that night for the Savan Fun Fest. Thanks,
  2. A few years ago, while visiting Udon, I came across a relatively short street that was lined with shophouses serving as offices for several molam troupes (khana molam). I'm heading back to Udon next week, but can't remember where the street is exactly. I believe it was off Makkheng Rd near a large wat. Can anyone based in Udon help me out? Thanks.
  3. He doesn't appear to have paid anything. He served 19 years of a 20-year sentence in Kathmandu. The majority of prisoners sentenced to life in prison in Nepal - which in Nepal's justice system is a sentence of 20 years - are released after 14 years. Authorities released him a year early due to age and illness. More info here: https://www.wwnytv.com/2022/12/23/notorious-french-serial-killer-freed-nepal-prison/
  4. "Here is the list of 19 SE Asian cities." Hong Kong is is in East Asia.
  5. "SE Asia is competitive." Sure, but Thailand is the most desirable country destination in the region, for most potential tourists, and that's the answer to the rhetorical question.
  6. Yes, I'm sure. I also copy and paste rather than re-type. I tried again the following day and got through, so I presume it was a glitch that day.
  7. I was able to get a password via email. But just tried logging in and got the message "Invalid user ID or password."
  8. I received a Moderna booster at Samitivej yesterday. I had registered back in August, expecting to receive it as my 2nd jab, but since I received a 2nd vaccination elsewhere in the meantime, when Samitivej finally gave me an appointment this week, I decided to see if they would administer as a booster. When I showed up, the staff automatically assumed I was there for a booster, so as it turns out I didn't need to explain myself. All went quickly and smoothly, and within an hour afterwards everything appeared in my MorProm digital record. My 1st vax was AZ in early June.
