  1. Try this link - its for the '21 Everest but I think the Everest and Ranger use some frame, engine and interiors, etc. https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?variantid=8492&languageCode=en&countryCode=USA&Uid=G2090729&ProcUid=G2044276&userMarket=THA&div=f&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web Have someone change the display language to English and set up Ford SYNC on the vehicle display screen. My SYNC is setup to my home Wifi and auto-checks for updates when I park or start the truck. If they do not have home Wifi, set it up to use a phone mobile hotspot. My software version is 3.4 and was last checked on 12/24/22 Hope this helps. ...dw
  2. I struggled with this too - especially with the increased usage of 2-step-authentication a few years back. For voice calling I signed up with (localphone.com) for a local incoming USA phone number using an area code that is in my USA mailing address area. It costs $0.99 USD per month and calls to USA land or cell phones is $0.005 per minute. The service just does not support incoming text very well. They have an iPhone app that does work for in/out calls. When I call people, they see my USA phone number and assume I am in the USA. For Europe calls, you could get another number - they just cost a bit more per month. For 2-step-authentication, I ported my USA cell phone to Tossabledigits.com. I am on the "Lite Annual" plan for $40 USD. Calls or texts go to my email in seconds. Look them up for all the options. So for less than $5 per month, I have - for the moment - removed this burden. Hope this helps...dw
  3. Pink7 - where are you getting the Growatt SPF 5000 ES inverters from? I see them on Lazada for Baht 32,750 - not including WIFI and No Warranty from a very questionable seller - no seller rating or ships on time ratings. Growatt has a BKK office. I sent their sales dept a message asking about price and warranty and was told: per unit cost was Baht 34,240 (32K+7% VAT), free shipping and a five (5) year warranty. At a USD/THB exchange rate of 35.5 the price I am being quoted is ~$965 USD. You are paying $713 USD per unit ($595 EACH + $118Shipping, half of Are you getting any warranty for this $252 USD difference?
  4. By the time I got to the last picture, I was LMAO - this should be put in the Humor section
  5. On the back porch - in the remote Jungle...
  6. I tried the cheap stuff - Green Crack (which was really just brick weed pulled apart and packaged in 50, 100, etc. gram bags) and it was horrid. It smelled like the stuff I used to get when I was 15 years old. Brought back some good memories of those times. Back then, I thought this was the good stuff!! I paid 700 Baht for 50 grams - it is now going into Cannabutter as I write. For the better stuff that I have purchased - Great White Tiger from Bloom Express (web site). Also got some AK47 from Canna Seed (Facebook), plus some Blue Dream and Girl Scout Cookies from JSJS (on the Line app). The stuff from Bloom and Canna were the best dried/cured - when dropped into their respective small jars with a Baveda Pack and a hydrometer - they pulled up around 62-64% relative humidity. The others, including stuff I received yesterday - Strawberry Cheesecake and Bruce Banner (both from Cannabis_fill it up - Line app) - all have all been around 74% RH upon delivery. Strawberry Cheesecake as advertised on the Line ad: Strawberry Cheesecake Delivered: I did not order the Bruce Banner - it was sent as a replacement for them not having the full 5 grams of the Strawberry Cheese Cake. Bruce Banner Delivered: I thought I might be <deleted> about the short order of (Strawberry Cheesecake) and a the replacement product (Bruce Banner). Boy was I wrong. Just tried the Bruce Banner earlier today and it was much better than the Strawberry Cheesecake. The main reason that enticed me to buy the Strawberry Cheesecake was the Line ad and video. The trichomes were visible and cloudy and it was like ‘bud porn’ - so I said, why not. Expensive? Yes. Although the most expensive stuff to date was the S-cake and B Banner at 480 Baht/gram. I do, however, like today’s weed variations in strains, strength, taste, smell and smoothness that some compare to wine. And they all have their own unique high. Prices will come down - but I am enjoying what is out there now, - today.
  7. Can you post the shopping link for Sticky Thai for the line app - I am getting this...
  8. I use Wunderground for daily forecasts and the TMD Weather Radar - same web page as Scubascuba3 indicated but I use a different loop since I am in Nong Bua Lom Phu
  9. Carry it in - in a suitcase - if stopped at airport baggage exit, tell them it's used and for personal use. Very few people getting stopped these days on exit. Looking at the dimensions on the web - it might work... Width 34.57 in Height 4.66 in Depth 18.35 in Weight 28.66 lb
  10. I just bought a new Ford Everest yesterday at the Ford dealer in Nong Bua Lom Phu - the fully loaded one (Titanium 4x4, Bi-Turbo, etc.). Base price was 1,799,000 Baht. Told them I was paying with cash and they gave me a 60,000 Baht discount which I used to upgrade rims/tires, mats, window rain vents, 40/60 window tint, full of fuel, etc. My upgrades went over by 12,000 Baht and they did not charge me extra. It included the first year insurance, transfer fees and registration - I had to pay an additional 900 Baht for insurance because the rims and tires were considered premium upgrades. They were very nice - but no one spoke good english - but my daughter facilitated as a translator. As spidermike007 just mentioned the new car market is down and the sales girl at Ford asked me if I had any friends that were looking for a new car.
  11. MJCM - have you received any quotes for panels and MPPTs from Bluesun? Shipping and import costs? Someone (?) mentioned that they have a BKK facility - if so, that would cut down on the shipping and import fees.
  12. Riclag - I am using a YeaLink W52P SIP phone - it is several years old as it was from a company I worked remotely for back in 2015. I just looked on Amazon and they are not available. A quick search on Lazada for a SIP phone should get you something. They are not hard to set up - you just need a strong internet connection.
  13. I am using Tossable Digits to "park" my USA mobile phone number. I ported my old Verizon mobile number over to Tossable when I left for Thailand in May 2021. Monthly fee is $3 USD. I get unlimited SMS messages - that I use for the banking two-step auth. I also have voice mail for when someone calls my old number and does not know I left the US and a few other features I do not use. To make or receive calls to/from the USA, I use LocalPhone.Com - I get a virtual number for $1.00 per month. For hardware, I have a YeaLink W52P SIP phone that is connected to the LocalPhone.Com SIP Server. Calls are SUPER CHEAP. Looking at a statement from last month, I made six (6) calls - duration total was 45 minutes - total charge = $0.145 - yes, less that fifteen cents USD!! I tried Ultra Mobile before and it did not work form me - the above two items are working very well and only cost $4 USD per month - plus a very little bit for usage. I too, use Capital One and cannot do mobile deposit - even with VPN. So I mail the very few paper checks I get back to their USA processing facility. Hope this helps some of you.
  14. My Rottweiler has had bad eye goo for quite some time. I was using eye drops for over a month to no avail. The vet recommended Amoxicillin. I looked at what they offered and noticed it was no different than the people version. Did not ask about price as I always keep some at the house. My dog has been on them for a week and eye goo is gone. Yes - it is pill form (capsule) which he has a problem getting down once in a while. I use a 1 OZ shot glass filled about a quarter of the way with water, drop the pill/capsule in, open his mouth and give him a shooter - 90% of them it goes down the first time. Other times it takes several attempts. Good luck...
  15. Dr MacBook does most everything apple. I just had an old iPhone 6 and a 7 get new battery and glass. Go to their web site and do a chat or send an email. They are very quick to respond.
