This makes perfect sense. If she enters on the Thai passport, she cannot leave on the US passport. The IO sensibly pointed that out.
Agreed mate. I only posted it up in response to a post saying something quite different above mine.

The IO can't refuse a Thai with a expired passport.
Maybe she have 'lost' the US passport at the airport.
She came in on the expired passport. The IO was advising her to use the US to both enter and leave on. She declined. As I said less than a week later she had the new Thai passport.

If you want to be taken seriously, you need to back up your opinions with some facts and logic. Otherwise, you're just wasting everyone's time with your empty words. You can't expect us to do all the thinking for you.
The reason the cannibis market is messed up is the government you want to regulate the issue. There are no rules, no nothing as Anutin rushed too much to get it approved. You want facts, you know little to nothing of the Thai weed market. Fact.

Government and Regulatory Bodies: The Thai government and relevant regulatory bodies can establish or enhance regulations and standards for the marijuana industry. They can implement quality control measures, testing protocols, and labeling requirements to ensure transparency and consumer protection.

Yes
Is her other pp valid?
She can exit on that pp and enter Thailand on her expired thai pp.
Hmmm... When my daughter came in September she had a valid US and an expired Thai passport. She told the IO she wanted to enter on the expired passport, they said better on the US as you have to leave on the same passport. She explained her parents were at the airport and the first stop was the passport agency on CW. So entered on the old expired Thai passport and had a new one in 5 days to exit on. She told me "IO said if I enter on one passport and I must exit on the same." Yes it was new but biometrically tied to her old one.

I do. I can't imagine a foreigner would want to live there in a 5k whatever instead of on the BTS (the favorite) or even the blue line - or even the purple line. Another issue would be not being able to search on foot like on Sukhumvhit and Ratchada. Hot, slow, expensive, random search.
We live in different worlds. Bangkapi is a major district of Bangkok. I dont make a distinction of where a foreigner might want to live. But I have been here long enough to have a nice detached house and a car. I never knew Bangkapi had no modern public transportation to it, so thanks for that.

One problem about MF is that, unlike PT, they have no communications channel with the stratospheric level.
How did they sweep Bangkok and win in almost every province in Thailand without that? Why are Taksin and Phua Thai saying they need to modernize their communications to match MF? Just sayin.

I have used a METV (multi-entry) several times and I believe the expiry date on the visa means you must ENTER Thailand before that date, which gives you 60 days plus a 30 day extension.
He entered 6 months ago.???? His last time to exit is the key. Think about it.

I have 60 days per entry i extend by 30, but, that 30 eats into the days permitted in the tourist visa? Doesnt make sense to me. In that case it doesnt extend anything. Why didnt they bring it up the previous times at immigration including the border? Thanks
None of this matters. You did not understand your visa. It had to be used the last time by May 11. So on May 12 it expired. If you had taken advantage of your last entry you as has been said you would have two more months, and then could apply for your 30 day extension for 1900B. Its simple but sad in your case.
If you take the time to scroll back and read you have been told this by numerous posters. Nobody is trying to confuse you. Only educate you. Jai yen yen.

seems to me it was multiple entry valid for 6 months. If he had left on the 11th he would be fine and gotten the last two month entry. But it expired. My two cents worth anyway.

With insurance covering it I would recommend Dr. Pisit Naprasert at Bangkok hospital. I have had two done by him and both very smooth and easy. Very professional service and excellent English. Good consultation and explanation both before and after the procedure. Very up to date equipment and attentive staff.

re-enter on a tourist visa with my French passport and apply for a work permit... That might be simpler/quicker!!
No work permit will be issued on a tourist visa.
You have a legit job, simply switch to a working visa, that the new company should arrange along with the work permit.
You would have no reason to tie up your funds again. Then when the time comes, re-apply for the retirement visa.

These senators need to be declared enemies of the state. A list of their names and photos needs to be circulated. The people need to call them and their children, siblings, and parents out at work, at school, at restaurants, and in public.
Shame them into submission. Make their lives so uncomfortable they quit a year early. It just might work.
As I posted yesterday being done as I type via social media. Line and Twitter in particular, Once the details have been gathered photos and text will be shared on FB and Instagram. These senators have absolutely no idea of the power of social media today.

This lot are pallid lefty city gen Z types, many of who would melt if they stepped out of air conditioned malls for more than ten minutes. They'll also be put in their place and sent for attitude adjustment.
You must have missed the street protests of 2021. Thousands in the streets. More than 1000 young kids arrested and locked up for this since the protests began. Including a number of teenagers who were not yet 18. Because of democracy you have the right to an opposing view something the protesters did not. But dinosaurs will soon see the old guard is in decline and the progressives who want a life better than their parents had are looking to achieve just that. When the ruling elite only gets a quarter of the votes cast while the progressive opposition get the rest its a clear sign its time for a change.

Already begun, Thai social media is full of it. Just getting names addresses and phone numbers now. Where do they shop, eat, fill their car with petrol and the such are active topics.

Besides, if only out of the U.S. on holiday I always found it odd that Americans tend to gravitate towards foods that are from the U.S.
I found that to be the case with the British. Look at Spain with the Costa Del Sol, not only the food, but the whole experience is just British. In general not much interaction with the Spanish. I also find some British have trouble with anything the least bit spicy.

My kid was coming for 3 weeks. On a US passport she could arrive Visa exempt. She chose not to do so, but the option was there as offered by the Thai IO.
