  1. A young woman in New York was so depressed that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the ocean. She went down to the docks and was about to leap into the frigid water when a handsome young sailor saw her tottering on the edge of the pier, crying. He took pity on her and said, "Look, you have so much to live for. I'm off to Europe in the morning, and if you like, I can stow you away on my ship. I'll take good care of you and bring you food every day." Moving closer, he slipped his arm around her shoulder and added, "I'll keep you happy, and you'll keep me happy."

The girl nodded yes. After all, what did she have to lose? Perhaps a fresh start in Europe would give her life new meaning.

That night, the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a lifeboat. From then on, every night he brought her three sandwiches and a piece of fruit, and they made passionate love until dawn. Three weeks later, during a routine inspection, she was discovered by the captain.

"What are you doing here?" the captain asked.

"I have an arrangement with one of the sailors," she explained. "I get food and a trip to Europe, and he's screwing me."

"He certainly is," the captain said. "This is the Staten Island Ferry."

  2. Hi

I am having problems listening to the live radio on this web site http://www.3aw.com.au/ I emailed them but they told me there is nothing wrong.

Can someone please try it as I am not sure if it is on my pc or there site .

    My system is vista

I see the same problem on windows XP using firefox and IE, the embedded windows media player does not like to follow the stream. The url of the stream source is "http://streaming.mytalk.com.au/3aw" which points to "mms://streaming.mytalk.com.au/3aw?MSWMExt=.asf", if you paste the last one (without the quotes) into your media player (wmp, videolan, winamp etc) it will play like a charm.

thanks for that i just cut and pasted it and it worked any idea why the player wont follow the stream

  3. A low grumble or clicking when on lock is likely the CV joint (that's the outboard joint of the driveshaft).

Modern motors require replacement of the complete shaft assembly as the joints are non-serviceable parts :)

5k sounds cheap as chips :D

Really? I thought you could always " seperate " the CV joint from the drive shaft actually, it's sealed with a clip.

They don't all come off that easy that is why full shafts are sold .

Many can be so tight that they have to be put into a press and part of the end of the shaft where the clip is, will shear off.

  4. I would say the driveshaft but i doubt also the wheel bearing at the same time if that is what you are referring to, if there was only one noise when turning its the driveshaft.

I agree the whole shaft will need replacing and that price is ok.

If you have a outer noise without anyload on it is a wheel bearing eg running in neutral.

Wheel bearings last a lot longer than driveshafs
