Sorry did not see this reply till nowYes sir stock gearing, but it was a cold day last week (10am), 95 benzine,
Cool...........You know I have never even tried 95 Benz since gasahol 95 has always run so well in
bike & scooters
Might try it just to see how it feels in comparison.

Yeah I saw that too & wondered what is going on.I watch on BBC 2 coverage and Cal in interview said that Herve came down with pen and contract to sign and Cal said he had his chance last week to do that, so still not clear what's happening.
You can read back on some news here...
http://www.motogp.com/en/news/riders/Cal+Crutchlow
I read some last week & from what I could tell it was all rumors
But yes seems some bad blood there now & that is never a good thing

Yeah sometimes fun to tinker around a bit.Cool man. Your bike is on its way.
Please inform us about you dig regarding ecus.
What is the estimated performance increase for ninja 250 after pipe, air filter and aftermarket ecu?
Power estimates I am not sure as it is harder to see dyno's for this model now that most
of the world is running the N300
I did see alias post a dyno of just his pipe & showing about 2.75hp gain for pipe alone.
He said no air filter was changed for the dyno just the pipe.
So not bad at 11% bump for just pipe.
After I am all sorted I may go see if Big Wing here is running their dyno yet just out of curiosity.
I would like to get a few more rides in as the first two were kind of surprising & I would like to see
how the top end has changed as well.
Was too busy today but hopefully tomorrow or later today,

Thanks &mania the pipe fits well to the bike nice angle, not too big not too small this is how a aftermarket pipe should look like. When i still had a cbr250 i wasnt able to find a good looking pipe at all.
Funny you mention that as it was a selling point for me on the Devil.
Many cans are just too big & not what I wanted.

Wow a dollar a doughnut eh?i am a kk guy http://www.krispykreme.co.th/index.php nothing like a quick ride for donuts and coffee
Them KK doughnuts are pricey

Thanks LLLooks great mania. I heard good things about devil pipes.
Now all you need is an aftermarket ecu to get the full performance from them.
Did you check if they sell pc 5 in Thailand for ninja 250?
On PC-V
I have seen some folks selling used so I know they exist
but it would be easy for me to buy in the US & have my son send it via post to me too.
Just reading a bit about the various ones available, PC, Bazazz & Area P/ Fuel Moto

Yes I recently saw a guy using a marble on a Thai site to block off his N250Blocking it off isn't a big deal- all you really need is the right size plastic cap- it definitly makes a difference.
Here are instructions and pics for my application- it's most likely similar for every bike:

Yep that is the truth of it & to tell you the truth I liked it better in many ways when it was jetting changes instead of ecu relatedIf you go to a full system, unless you do some tuning and block off the PAIR valve, you'll very likely have some deceleration pop no matter which brand you purchase- if you're just getting slip-ons it shouldn't be an issue.
The exhaust I'm having installed this week comes with the PAIR valve block-off kit, and I'll be doing some FI tuning as well- even with that, I still expect some issues until I get the ECU flashed- even though its a different bike from yours, you'll probably still have to do some tuning as well when you swap your header- it's a byproduct of the increased air-flow of a freer-breathing system.
At least it was easier to do yourself & cheaper.
I have heard a bit about the block offs & seen pictures but have not
used any
I recently changed my pipe & air filter on my N250 & of course have the deceleration backfires
Although not as bad as initial run I will be dealing with it & probably need to grab a bazazz or PCV
So the block offs help a lot do they? I wonder if someone has done any on the new FI Ninja 250's?

Was not planning on doing mods but got a itch the other day &
added a Devil Evolution full system to the N250 along with the panel type air filter
I was leaning towards Corse from Alias but this devil is available here from my K Dealer
& he always takes good care of me with discounts & free installs etc. so I gave it a try.
The weight as expected is considerably lighter than the stock unit but it was more than I expected. Those stock units are HEAVY!!
The header set appears quite a bit larger in diameter
( Which of course seems odd since it bolts to the same exhaust ports )
& of course new header is cat free but has the port for O2 sensor
Looks to be titanium & I have seen it advertised as such but am not 100% certain.
Sent an email to the manufacturer to see as I was curious.
Very nice workmanship though & welds are all well done
Have just a couple of rides in so far & initial reaction was
this may be too loud & the backfiring on deceleration of course needed help.
I knew the fuel map would probably need help now to compensate for the increased intake & exhaust flows
But surprisingly by the 2nd ride either the ecu has adapted quite a bit or the initial amount of backfire may have
also been a result of excess manufacturing oils inside the system which also caused the usual smoke first time out.
What ever the case may be,,, the backfiring is quite minimal now. I am over the initial sound shock too
Of course it is louder than the stock purr but that is always the deal/trade off right?
Performance though has been better than expected. Although I have not checked top end yet.....
All thru the rpm range "feels" like stronger pull,,, but the biggest change is rev speed.
I initially hit the rev limiter 2 or 3 times in mid gears 2,3,4 with this setup which I never do as the N250 is up there at 13-13200
but because it revs/pulls thru the range so fast now I did inadvertently bounce it a few times off the limiter which really surprised me.
Will be interesting to play with this a bit more & see where it goes.
If the gearing is going to wind up that quick with this setup I may drop the back a tooth or add one up front & let it stretch a bit.
I may take it in at some point in the future out of curiosity if I do a few more things to get a dyno
but being a 250 it is just not that critical for me.
Anyway here are a few pics of the pipe with a before & after on the bike

Yeah the rain made it very exciting.
I initially thought Marc was done & could not handle the rain/wet but he proved me wrong & clawed his way all
the way back.
The Ducati of Dovizioso impressed me in Qualifying & then all thru the race so did Hayden really
especially not plowing into Rossi when Rossi went down.
Then of course Pedrosa was very good even after his early off track excursion
Crutchlow? Awesome & glad he has some bargaining power to help in in his time of need.
Although I am sure he was glad the race ended as Marc was on a mission
I felt bad for Dovi & thought maybe he could hold onto that 3rd
Very good racing I loved it !!

Oh what a great race that was
Really Enjoyed it !

Yes I think I amAre you sure about this?
Imagine you have a wheel say it is what ever diameter....17" for instance
From a starting line/point ...Imagine it makes one revolution...it has traveled x amount of inches
Imagine X amount of those revolutions per minute it has traveled x amount of inches per minute/ per hour etc.
That is the beginning basics now you need to visualize all the ratios of various gear configurations
Your idea about a higher revving 150 vs a 500 only makes sense if they both are turning the same gear ratios.....They are not
The charts are correct...Or will be if you input the proper info of what your running.
It is math plain & simple .....well ok maybe not simple at times lol

Does it works that way? What about the difference in hp and torque?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
When your looking at gearing you are looking at distance traveled in what is called gear inches
That is arrived at by gear inches & wheel diameter
The distance is termed by a revolution so rpm is what is needed to be known not hp or torque
PS: Very good help section on that site
Go click help > Help on using GC > Enter Manually
Or click resulting speed etc for explanations
Or Gearing Basics etc.
PSS: Remember this kind of thing os all theoretical too
meaning you will have wind / drag etc which will make each persons situation different
But it is a good guideline to see " Theoretical" speeds etc.

Load the Honda CBR250 & then I guess you need your primary ratio which I guess you have it in your manuals?
Nice site mania! But at the moment they don't have the charts for our cbr500R bike.
I always liked that siteLL I really think that is the bikes capability....Here is a theoretical calculator for you to play with....
Now my friends er6 maxed out at 220 in top gear without hitting redline and he has quite a few mods....pipe, sprockets etc!!!
It is cool to look at the various gearing configurations & their effects all else being equal
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
Then
Just load your sprocket sizes ( also not online for Honda??? )& rpm range & change tire sizes all in the custom or current section
Then save as your personal profile & it will save as a cookie on your computer

heheh mai bpen rai but yeah it is kind of an eggshell white isn't it?The so called white carbon vinyl sticker hasn't worked so will try and find a whiter one hehe.
No worries just go straight white wrap ? ..I think it will look cool & you can always add
some brand stickers you support

Has a very decent soundSound like a busy little engine doesn't it!
Thick up top &
Beefy down low too
I think if we closed our eyes & none told us what bike this 600 was
we would all say wow pretty beefy for a stock bike with stock exhausts etc.
I know I did

Well Happy Birthday soihok !
About Lemans I would have to say it was a bit of a surprise to see
Dovizioso get front row.
Good on Ducati though & getting more brands into the final fight makes it all
the better for us spectators
Crutchlow nursing a small fracture near his shin
will see how he goes.

I know !Kwasaki, on 18 May 2013 - 12:30, said:
Strange things going on with Cal, when he seems to be doing so good.
I kind of hope he pulls a great race out there in France
Maybe that would give him some bargaining powers
Does seem weird for them to be screwing with him but I also do not know the history
of him not signing for 2 years before .

Well that is what I was hoping when I saw these sites with all these low miles bikes for sale.these guys, the non-riders who buy new imported bikes, are OUR best friends in LoS. They pay full retail, all taxes, add expensive bits, ride em once, park em, change their underwear, then sell em! All we have to do is wash off the seat.
We had the same thing in San Francisco with the DotCom yuppies in late '90s - early '00s: i was not alone in snagging a basically new Ducati for a song from one of these dweebs. Bike had 1600 miles on it!
But that Financing deal is the killer because they do not drop the interest for prepayment in full.
So the used bikes owned by the finance companies are usually higher priced than new out the door bikes.
Yet they sell because the next Thai lines up & takes over payments & has enough side money to pay off the previous
debt jockey's small deposit request

Stock gearing?I actually got the CBR 250 up to 170 kph the other day. Heres what was needed:

That sure made me smileI'm getting the US-spec version (200hp/210hp with ram air- with my mods I'm hoping for ~205hp at the rear wheel
I am sure it will make you smile too when you twist the wrist
