You can diy visa run BKK to Aran for b1300 all in, incl usd20 for visa and bottle of jim beam. Minivan is 230ea way.

After that its just money in the bin.

It will be faster as well. Waiting for a group of people that have no clue will only slow you down.

I leave by 8 and back usually by 6 and yeah, its s long day but no way around that. No way visa service is going to be faster than diy. The return trip sucks, in the van about 4hrs due to traffic in pm. Sometimes I cut it short and take airport link some of the way.

Another bs possibility going with other farang is they dont drop at one point but drive these guys all over BKK and farang live in some cheap ass crazy places!

The only way to fight the nonsense, bribery and utter BS is as follows:

Sooner or later it will dawn on them that they are not getting any more money and just making extra work for themselves. What will really reinforce this is return each day, day after day tather than next week. Another idea - get a bunch of guys together and go in on Fridays and Mondays as well (when everyone LIKES to have an eady day. Another idea, ask polite but endlessy insne stupid questions with a snile. Wear them down.

It is only then that the problems will sort themselves out.

I cant be bothered with it even in bkk. I get my visa outside and make visa runs often coupled with intl.trips (both of us) or...hop to Cambodia. I see all this as less offensive and less dramatic than these guys on marriage and even retirement extensions. Its a game I have avoided playing for 20yrs now.

Maybe you should just make notes of all bs, keep going back - then when thete is no more time, demand 60days based on marriage. Then just keep going back. Wear them out.

Make a checklist of what you have and what is acceptable. Better yet get a bunch of guys together to do the same.

If they decline your extension, all of you go down to bkk en masse to apply for extension and they eill br like oh, you cant do that HERE. Then you show them all the evidence of them hassling you and not goving your visa. Right down reason for each rejection. I mean photos <deleted>? And that you had a packet and none were acceptable? They need to to spin better bs. Try and get noyrs on each rejection - perfect.

My hunch is a call will be made. Bureaucrats are lazy and bkk sure wont be happy about sorting out the mess. It might even look like they are fishing for money upcountry.

Seems to me either way you have three options: take what they dish out, fight it passive aggressively or fight it in bkk (just act old dumb and stupid, really polite and soft spoken).

My advice would be to move - just an endless variation on the huge hassles guys have living all over Issan.

PS you stated you will be working. Good luck pulling all that together abroad and esp convincing you enplyer you need x months holiday before arrival. Esp if they are paying one baht of it. Next you have to enter Thailand before the visa expires. It is very conceivable the exp date will be 60 esp from that wench in the LA consulate.

You will learn in your life abroad, while we like everyghing in neat little planned packages, life never delivers it that way. Your ability to think on your feet, to diy and to understand your options will empower you most in this game of uncertainty.

I think you will be ok flying in from India. I routinely return from India wo a visa. Ive never had airline staff hassle me for a visa.

Gamble. Dont get a visa, stay 30.days, leave, get a double and come back.

Ive only used Opalessence. Its what my dr used in Cali and what DH used so Id say its "the best". In the end its a simple substance and should be avail generic and cheap. The issue comes in imo can you trust the generics? This seems to be a really sketchy product market, even the name brand stuff is shipped out of date. And who and how is % strength regulated by what governing body? Nobody ☺ In the end the Opalessence is pretty cheap, I recall about 4US a tube shipped.

PS imo all things being equal, better to have lower percent on longer than higher percent on shorter. Im not suprised if you saw little results after a few hrs wear over a week.

That strength is plenty, just sleep with the tray in your mouth. If your teeth are really discolored from coffee or esp tobacco you will have lesser results. Id say its going to take six tubes, about three weeks to see a real difference - but it does work unlike the light/uv bleaching which is a scam.

I used Opera mini on an old Nokia, loved it. Seems much slower than Dolphin.

Dolphin is speedy but you can just tell, ff is the better quality app.

Just back from savannakhet today, received non imm o based on marriage, 1 year multi entry, I used the Savan Vegas agent there, submitted only copies except marriage doc = original+ copy, along with passport other copies submitted were bank book (agent asked for 300k in acc) which was strange I thought, copy wife's tabien baan, copy wife's ID, 2 passport sized photos and fee of 5k baht,,, agent returned photos we also took along with us she said no need,, also not required was a letter the wife wrote in support of my application,,,, agent provided the submission and collection of my passport whilst I waited around at hotel, so easy I actually felt uneasy

May I ask you (the OP) why you haven't sorted out your Non-Immigrant O in your home country before you travel? This may have been the easier option since you could have also obtained a Multiple Entry Visa. As far as I know Thai embassies in the neighboring countries mainly issue Single Visas, meaning you will need to apply for an extension within Thailand...

The US embassy has given me such grief over the years on TRs that I suspect the same nonsense for non O "marriage visa". Further, I expect that they would push me toward OA rather than issue me a multi one year based on the certificate as I do not think there is any financial requirement (forget). Its basically 3-6mo deal intended for visits.

Well not for me! I'd say that one of the greatest joys about living in Bangkok is all the absolutely smoking hot women in lovely short dresses, heels with a bit of makeup and lashes. It's better than a fashion show. No women as a group come anywhere close to the femininity, style, grace of the Thai woman although Japanese are close.
