  1. Sorted. Vehicle does not have to be present.

Wow, you must have good connections, or are just making up things as usual, because as another poster pointed out already with every transfer a copy from the VIN numbers is taken and attached to the documents.

Meh not my problem if you don't believe me... as I mentioned above my bike was not needed to be present either.

  2. Amorn supply in Tukcom Pattaya on Pattaya Tai has a good selection of meters and other test equipment.

I will check it out. Do you remember what floor it is on?

    Sub basement.

Go in the front door then down the escalator.

  3. My wife recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Win from Big C. Ever since she bought it, it has been randomly, constantly restarting, sometimes taking 10 or more times to switch on. She has taken it to the THAI Samsung repair centre twice already but the problem still persists.

The problem in Thailand is not the build quality, it's the so called after sales service. The wife's phone is guaranteed for 1 year but they refuse to replace a unit with a patently obvious fatal flaw with a brand new one; they will only fix it = bodge job until the guarantee runs out .

Goes to show how random customer service is. My Galaxy S4 suffered a similar problem and they gave me a new replacement. It was 8 months old at the time.

  4. Appreciate the feedback people thank you very much. Bugger me.... I might just hang on to it given those prices. The listed value is indeed 800K+ but market prices right now are more like 650K+. I was thinking of selling it and buying a Wildtrak 3.2 which sell for 1,039,000. I would have to shell out around 300-350K to upgrade. I wasn't expecting that!

Sort of got the bug though now. I had no idea Wildtraks came in 3.2 engines. I always thought they were 2.2 only which put me off buying one when the new ones released. I love me Isuzu - its solid and quick - but the Wildtraks just seem like another level to me.

    Anyway thanks for you help

    TLS

I have an Isuzu and would not trade it for a ford.

The Ford looks good and thats about all.

I have a couple of mates with the Wildtrack and they wished the had kept their Toyota's

2 years ago I sold my 2004 Colorado for Bt350,000 to buy a Ranger....I have just sold that Ranger for Bt.350,000..... spectacular waste of money.

I wish I kept the Colorado.

  5. yeah TH400's are decent boxes with some coin thrown at them. A built one to take 1000hp can be had for $2000 these days throw a decent convertor behind it (bout $1000) and you will have a very stout combo that will live happily on the street or strip.

Personally though if I was to go for a built auto it would be a powerglide (if strip car) or 4L80E (for street car)which is the modern day version of the TH400 but has the 4th gear overdrive.

  6. I never said I wasn't willing to pay more money for better quality but it doesn't have to be a lot more. A simple store like Costco would clean up in Thailand if they could sell items for the same prices as back home.

Unless Costco are able to set-up shop in Thailand for zero cost and avoid all import taxes I just don't reckon they will get close to the same prices as the USA.

True Value Hardware sell a lot of imported (from the USA) products and are very expensive (compared to the USA)..... why do you think this is ?

  7. I understand your mistake 100%. If you bother reading my quoted text from the tremec website you too would understand that the T56 (Magnum) box that Iam talking about is more commonly known as the TR6060 box.

I assume you are talking about the TR6060 box though because whilst you mention T6060 (Tremec do not market a T6060 box) you link to a wiki entry for the TR6060.

  8. lol Tremco is a pretty bad spelling mistake for T6060.

The Magnum I mentioned... it is the T6060 box.

    http://www.tremec.com/menu.php?m=104

    Magnum 6-Speed Transmission

The kingpin of TREMEC's high performance line-up, the T-56 Magnum double-overdrive 6-speed transmission takes the very best from TREMEC's current OEM technologies and pairs it with the most popular features of the TKO 5-speed.

Able to withstand a massive 700 lb-ft. of torque while providing unbelievably crisp shifts, no other manual transmission on the planet offers as much combined strength, versatility, and general ease-of-use as the T-56 Magnum.

Known in its original equipment form as the 'TR-6060', the Magnum is an aftermarket version of the same transmission found in many of today's most celebrated factory super cars – including the ZR1 Corvette and ACR Viper – giving you refinement where you want it and strength where it counts.

  9. This is thailand

And? You don't think some Thai people want to purchase quality products that last for a little higher cost or higher competent electricians or carpenters that know how to work? Mercedes and BMWs sell pretty well here so why not quality consumer products? Its only cars people will pay the higher price for the quality?

Quality consumer products are available here except the cost is more than just a little higher, Something you will understand with more clarity once your container load of stuff arrives and you find yourself having to pay the import taxes.... suddenly your $20.00 USD purchase has now cost you $40.00 in total.

  10. I can't see a T56 trans dealing with a 1000 gg's, even on production big torque motors it was dumped for a Tremco....sad.png

Tremco? or do you mean Tremec?

If indeed Tremec you do realise the T56 is a Tremec box don't you.

To be honest though Iam surprised the T56 is taking the power (assuming it is a stock box and not the Magnum), saying that the vehicle is babied and rarely driven in anger.

  11. No need to argue am just stating facts.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeer, I do not see any facts regarding common 1000hp rides.........rolleyes.gif

You need to understand the modified car scene in Australia.

If I was back home this car would be looking promising for me to park in my Garage... it is a typical Ford Falcon build.

  12. In financial debt/borrowing terms how much does america actually owe China ?

Happy to borrow money but not happy to sell property ?

The US doesn't "owe" the Chinese a damn thing but don't let hatred stop you.

My bad, I thought the USA had borrowed 1.28 trillion from China. if it was a gift then I apologize.

  13. vehicle needs to be present at time of name change cos they have to check vin numbers with the book etc

You must do the name change at the same DLT where the truck is registered

Wow awesome... not good news for me.

You see Kwasaki... rather than be an <deleted> you could have replied the same.... but I guess you are just as clueless on the actual matter as me.
