  1. I do have a fair few novels and a lot of Kurt Vonnegut sci-fi and Anthony Burgess novels. Also have sewing and cookery books, so quite a mix.
  2. I'm afraid too many to list but am planning to sell or donate everything anyway. If there's anything that you are particularly looking for let me know and I will check. If you like Henry Williamson as an author, I have the full 15 volume set of a Chronicle of Golden Sunlight which I would like to pass on as one item as it took some time to collect so the condition is variable.
  3. Thanks all for the info. Very useful.
  4. That's fine. I don't want any money for them, just want them to go to a good home if at all possible.
  5. No, just found it. Didn't know it existed, so thanks.
  6. Hi, I don't believe there are any second hand English language bookshops in Pattaya any more, which is a shame. However, I have a large amount of books that need to go to a good home, so was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere that would be happy to take them, such as schools or libraries, if there are any. They are all adult level English in varying condition, so would be suitable probably for 6th form up in terms of English reading skills. Would be really grateful if anyone has any ideas. Thanks mls
  7. Certainly looks like Lazada may have what I need. Will check it out more thoroughly. Thanks all
  8. Thanks all for your suggestions. Guess I'll just have to keep looking since tracing paper is much too stiff and toilet or kitchen roll too soft and small for wrapping. Shops suppliers will be worth a try too. But it is pretty frustrating not being able to find something as common as tissue paper...
  9. Think Friendship is a good place to try. Often has things upstairs that you wouldn't expect, so thanks for the suggestion. One place I hadn't thought of!
  10. Tried B2S at Central. Art shop up the road from Foodland. Otherwise not sure, but places like HomePro. As I said my partner has been looking as I can't go out, so not really sure. Thanks
  11. Have been looking high and low for some white sheets of tissue paper to wrap fragile items and clothes. They need to be about 18 x 24 inches. As i cannot go out, my Thai partner has been looking but I don't think he really knows what tissue paper is, even though I supplied him with an old sample. Am aware it is an odd request but would think that most large stores would use it to wrap things, so it must be available somewhere? Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks. mls
