You sound as if you know them?

I think I know that accent though I stand to be corrected. The UK passports was an attempt at a joke in reference to the Pattaya machete wielder.

I see some posters suspect the whole thing could be a set-up. Could it possibly be my friend Nate indulging in another wild caper after he ran out of coins to lay on railway tracks?

I think we should be told.

They finger print everyone at immigration, there is clear footage of one of them fingering the laminated price list, I wonder if the police even considered dusting it.

No, they don't.  Perhaps it was just you that they thought justified having them taken.

They absolutely do not look Aussie you racist p..g. Look more European. Most likely holding  false passports made in Thailand with false drivers licence and forged currency all made in the wonderful country. Plus bet they had a smoko on your clean beach! Aside from that I feel sorry for the innocent massage parlour..

How does an Aussie look? Do they normally wear hats like the Aussies below?

First thing that I thought. I can understand a thief acting nervous but why was the staff member acting the same. She even looks to the door as if she knew the second scumbag was on his way in.

Windows in the shop front?  Eyes in her head?

It's called credit, monthly payments; or saving, lot's of people do that.

I don't want to shatter your illusions but some of these ladies do naughty things to men who like to do naughty things. Some even ask money for it so they can buy a new phone.

Obviously some don't and save.

I don't get it.

All phone sim cards must be registered stating address of the owner, all accommodation has to report all new guests within 24 hours plus immigration has their passports on computer showing their photos.

And the police say they can't find them?

I reckon I could.

"All phone sim cards must be registered stating address of the owner."

Since when?  Dtac don't have my address, only my passport details.

"...all accommodation has to report all new guests within 24 hours..."

So how will that help the police when they don't know their names or where they're staying?

"immigration has their passports on computer showing their photos.'

They don't have photo of the thief wearing a cap, hiding his identity, do they?  And his face was obscured in the CCTV that is in the OP.  His mate didn't do anything wrong.

The second one, the thief, is waiting outside the slightly open door after his mate goes in, why shouldn't she notice him?

Get away, they don't, do they?  Whoever would have thought?

Perhaps this is a legitimate Thai massage business, it looks like it could be from the set up, so perhaps they did save for them, or get them on credit.

I'm surprised nobody is calling for the deportation of the entire white race.....well ...guess that only applies when some African, Arab or Indian does some mischief. :post-4641-1156694572:

Well that would be just downright idiotic wouldn't it...  Just deport all Aussies or those British with an Aussie accent...   :coffee1:

No, she's not.  Just like every other ThaiVisa member, without exception apparently, my white-skinned, Thai-Chinese girlfriend, who has never been in a bar in her life, even to just socialise, is  busy running her own, incredibly successful business employing hundreds, that she started with her own money after finishing the best university in Thailand with a Master's in Everything.  She doesn't have the time, or the inclination, to do anything so lo-so as work in a massage shop.

Interesting comment. The SIM cards would surely be in the names of the Thai owners from whom they were stolen.

If the police can somehow identify the thieves from the video and match passport pictures, then there may be a chance. I have not seen mention of where this theft occurred, maybe I missed it.

However, you would be doing a great service if you found them based on your theories. good luck.

What "set up" is that then. Enlighten me.

With pleasure, always happy to assist.  The curtain in the shop from behind which the first girl peered out when the men came in suggests that there may be massages happening there.  The only massage shops I've been in, and used myself, all have individual rooms with a locking door, upstairs (or downstairs in one case), none of them do the business behind curtains so close to the door.  The genuine Thai massage only places generally are set up as seen in the CCTV.

Enlightened now?
