Check out AIR ASIA X new low cost airline from Air Asia , not sure when they start but is very soon I beleive.

I understand they will be flying into Manchester and Luton. Definately from KL they are opening up with flights at 9.99 ringit ( 100 Baht ) !!!!!!!!!

Maybe only a few seats on a plane but someones gonna get them!

Forgetting the blurb, according to a write up in Bangkok Post a while back they stated that the average flight should be around 15,000 Baht

Approx half the current average availiable cost

Will be booking with them myself as family is over in march/april.

Sounds great thanks but there is no web site yet and all the news reports quote start up in July, guess it's one for next year

I booked with Ebookers.com flying with China Airlines to Bangkok. I am planning on booking the Phuket flights with Airasia when I get there. These were the cheapest I could find and also China Airlines have TV on demand on their 747 flights...a great bonus when travelling with 3 children.
