I recall one poster some years ago did a summary of the Friday night teacher buffet balloon chase on Sukhumvit....spot on it was too!!

Years ago Foodland hosted a wine tasting and free buffet for their customers.    Originally it was held at the Foodland on Sukhumvit Soi 5 but then moved to the Foodland on Soi 16.    It was held the weekend before Thanksgiving.

They have been doing them across the river in Thonburi for the past few years, though I haven't heard anything about it this year.  Just check with a manager at a Foodland branch you know & see if they will give you an invitation.
