An estimated 1.6 million people are expected to grab first glimpses of the new BMW X3 M, Mazda 2 and other flash cars at the 36th Thailand International Motor Expo Friday (November 29) through December 10 at Impact Challenger Halls 1-3 in Muang Thong Thani on Bangkok’s northern edge.

The show has as its concept “Ride and Drive Together Now” and will also spotlight the Porsche Cayenne Coupe, Volvo V60, BMW X4 M, Ford Everest Sport, Honda City, Honda Civic Hatchback, Hyundai Veloster, Mazda CX-8, Mini John Cooper Works Clubman, Mitsubishi Triton Athlete, Nissan Almera, Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary and Toyota Yaris ATIV.

For those who prefer two wheels, there’ll be hotly anticipated motorcycles and, of course, the “big bikes”.

The exposition will have 34 brands of cars and 26 brands of motorcycles, and dealers are expecting to sell 50,000 of the former and 9,000 of the latter.

The event is likely to generate Bt56 billion in spending.

Yesterday, Yes stacked out with some very diserable looking ladies, maybe the odd one had that little extra bit ... I only took three photos and post below. Didn't think happy snapping was a good idea as MrsJ tagged along ....

Volvo have the new V60, guess you would call it an estate car

Lexus have their update of ES300H, they also had the previous model ...think selling at 100,000thb less

The MU-X looked very good in what I think is their new red

A huge display of big bikes ....

Definately worth a visit.

Volvo V60 T8 Twin Engine AWD Momentum 2.29M not far off UK price around 50,000 GBP , usually there is a bigger difference ?

This is very good timing for the car show with the new government stimulus package coming out and containing easy access low interest loans. A remarkable coincidence given  car business has been flagging for the year. It should give car and bike sales and household debt a bit of a kick along.

BTW, don't get too excited lads. The PM will be keeping his usual watchful and moralistic eye in this car show. I think it was the 2016 car show where he took exception to the hot, steamy and scantily clad coyote girls and their performances and stepped in to have them removed along with a stern lecture to the organisers.

That’s V60 in the picture is a ‘little’ more.

Earlier this year I drove the XC60 Inscription, that is really quick and the V60  will be just about the same.
