if

 i go to my local immigration office to extend either a VE,STTV or SE non imm O (spouse) for 60 days will  a copy of my australian marriage certificate suffice.

Immigration will accept your Australian marriage certificate to apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife. Best to have the original of it with you and a copy.

You wife will need to be with you. You will need copies of her house book registry and ID card.
