Every day when i look at Thai visa, the 1 person i see moaning in most of his posts is you moaning about other posters, give it a rest please, getting extremely boring.

This will really attract those 'quality tourists' en masse.

As of June 1, vaccinated individuals can go to Phuket without quarantine or need for a PCR test. And hotel rooms are cheap.

so, yeah, I might give it a try, even before July 1.

Flights BKK-HKT are 1000 baht.

Brilliant.  1 million room nights at an average 2,000/night costs the government 2 billion.  But wait, Phuket is going to make 40 billion so each of the 1 million room nights is going to generate 38,000 from the tourists.  Well heeled they are indeed.

And that's just in July!! When everything will likely still be shut. Or likely to shut again at a moment's notice at the whim of some official.

Amazing numbers being touted 😆

If only they established a fixed all-inclusive entry price instead of all these COE, Visa, Insurance etc...
No other tricks are actually needed to attract tourists.
