Was doing it online ,quick and easy, ...then it wasn't ..don't know

if its fixed yet, so I just send it in by post..works well , one visit a

year to Immigration is enough for me .....

To the OP, 200 THB was that for 1  report or 4 , did you get a receipt

from immigration with date for the next report....

200 baht for one report. Yes, the passport came back with next 90 day due date.

Honestly for the convenience the 200 baht was well worth it.

200 Baht is cheap. In Bangkok it is anything between 1000 and 1500 baht. I paid last time because the online didn't work.

Now I have given up and returned to sending by post.

If doing your report by post, given the contents of the envelope, I presume there is some form of 'Registered Post' where receipt of the letter is signed for?

There is a standard procedure outlined on immigration website - yes you send by registered mail or EMS and have online access to receipt.  Should be mailed 15 days prior to due date but normally they will let that drop to about a week with a red warning to do earlier next time.

Doing a 90 day report at the Promenada IO couldn't be easier these days.

I recently did it for the fourth time and like the previous three times was in and out in less than ten minutes.

   Have your papers in order.

   Go mid-morning or mid afternoon.

Avoid going just before or just after holidays and Bob's your uncle, guaranteed.

I agree, I've been going to the Promenada these past 3 times and it's a breeze!

Maybe we should keep quiet about it or soon it might not be such a walk in the park.

I think that the Promenada is out of the way for many. It's apparent for the lack of shoppers it draws. I go there mainly for 3 reasons:

- Rimping

- 90 Day Reporting

- DIY store

Sometimes I pay my ToT bill there when I remember. I also have bought most of my electronic goods at Chi Chang.

Thank you Mr One Size Fits All.
Sorry you don’t have enough money to use everywhere else and plenty left over to pay an agent.

Agent costs about the same as a good dinner so really not much.

So far ,this Visa yr .my extension retirement and two 90 day reports drive through at the Cmai Immgr Dept have taken approx 4 hrs in total as a DIY

BTW all the above 3 ,have been posted here????????  as for your sarcastic remark of  not having money ???????? i cuddle my money and spend wisely, With the Zoo day,s presently over  and Cmai Immgr dept  being very quite in numbers ,for any visa the Visa Agents are a busted flush  as DIY IS presently a easy task.

Summing up, over the last 6 months my previous Visa Agents who i have  engaged during the Zoo Days have pleasantly canvassed for my Visa business etc etc to return

Smell the coffee ,again they are a Busted Flush

A noob who pays an agent for what he can so easily do himself brings to mind the old chestnut, "A fool and his money are soon parted."

noob - does 17 years count ?

Spend your time - and money - however you want.

No need to denigrate people who do things different than you

Ah, nothing more pleasurable than a quick 'in and out"... especially when it involves immigration.

Until recently the scene was crowded, disorganized and stressful. Now much better.

A noob who pays an agent for what he can so easily do himself brings to mind the old chestnut, "A fool and his money are soon parted."

"A fool and his money are soon parted is true enough.

What has always puzzled me is how they got together in the first place.
