Sure more politicians will help the money drainage system.

Are these ideas his or do they come from knowledgeable experienced water management engineers?

Let's guess; another 25Billion Baht?

Employ  garbage collectors   that will do their job properly,  ( thats a  big job in itself), Currently thoughout East Pattaya  public garbage bins overflow daily, because they are not  emptied  regularly,  causing the contents to block the drain covers,  hence the floods, not helped by  Thai's who throw  their plastic bag full off their household garbage  in to any where there is long grass growing

i lived for 15 years in Pattaya near Parraya Tai and Sukhumvit, this place is flooded as soon as it rains for 30 min, my house was flooded twice. This area is below the sea level, unless you pump water out, nothing will work. They cannot drain water from beach road, what are you talking about other areas?

Thailand's deputy prime minister Prawit Wongsuwan has stepped into Pattaya's drains.

All that is needed now is for him to be ram-rodded up a major Pipe to seal it with his rotund bulk.

Job s a good ,un
