Pressure group issues 17-point takedown of Prayut’s track record

A less than influential political pressure group has a 17-point hit list for the PM. This is the sort of thing that should inspire the seated opposition to come up with meaningful no-confidence motions rather than the softballs pitched so far in parliament.

There's a blast from the past Thailand can do without in the future.

Why?, the pot calling the kettle black is exactly what is needed.  Who better to point out the mistruths than someone who also lived by them.  Of course that's my opinion, but I will stick to it.

The premier “never tells the truth,” said Jatuporn Prompan, co-leader of Samakkhi Prachachon and chairman of the United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship.

“He said that there would be no coup. He also said he wanted to get rid of corruption, but he hasn’t done anything about it.”

Best of luck...

Get rid of corruption, thats a laugh, since he took control at gun point corruption has increased on a MASSIVE scale, now it is almost out of control.

Such a sad state of affairs, anybody wanting a government job now has to hand over several hundred thousands, or they have no chance.

I have to disagree with you. I believe this government has corruption firmly under their control

The Covid pandemic has really shown that the government’s strength is in ordering soldiers (people) around and telling them what to do and when to do it! They have not grasped the idea of governing a country and making it a better place for all of its citizens and protecting those citizens as they go about their daily lives????

this group of snakes are no better than what is in place, they all have one objective - enriching themselves

The future Forward party had potential  but they were neutralized for that very reason

I agree. Prayut knew they were a real threat and got rid of them. Unbelievable what this govt is getting away with. If Future Forward did manage to get back under some other entity they would win a landslide vote no doubt!

Jatuporn is a snake out to make money. A Chinese from the South like the rest of the red shirt leadership and rejected by his own people, he manipulated under privileged Isaan and Northern Thais and led them to their deaths to make lots of money from Thaksin.  No good will come from this man.

Though you are essentially correct, it would have been so easy to use the soldiers to patrol the border areas, no matter how rural, and rough the terrain, and stop infected, super spreader illegals, from coming across the border, and arresting corrupt border officials on the spot, at the same time. At a minimum, it would have been good training. Put the army to work doing something. Anything. Justify their existence, shoehow.

And that brings up another important question and issue. What on earth do these soldiers do? Who are they protecting us from? How does the nation justify a half million soldiers? And 2,200 empty suit generals? And the ridiculous military budget of 223,000,000,000 baht?

Bet Prayuth does! He's locking them all up!

That is why they call him The Enforcer. He locks up alot of his guys. Sentences them for decades for the smallest infractions or corruption. This great man is truly fulfilling the promises he made.
