RB advises to refer to Prime Minister’s Office for the latest entry guidelines. -Foreign Nationals Effective 15 September 2020, foreign nationals may be allowed entry into Brunei for essential business travel and other considerations on a case-to-case basis. All visitors arriving into Brunei (with appropriate approvals and documentation from the Brunei government), will be required to undergo a minimum of 2 to 14 days self-isolation period immediately at appointed monitoring centres in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act (204). Any foreign nationals who receive permission to travel into Brunei will also be required to present: -Valid Entry Travel Pass -A negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT PCR) test result from a designated medical center that is recognized by the government of the country of departure; undertaken within 72 hours prior to the departure time of travel to Brunei. Official document must clearly state “RT PCR” in order to be authenticated. (This document can be presented as either hard copy or e-copy, for example on a mobile phone.) -Proof of valid hotel booking for at least 6 days starting on the day of arrival. -Proof of a valid air ticket -Proof of a valid visa (for visa-required passport holders) -Proof of payment for post-arrival COVID-19 PCR test, if applicable. -Proof of installation of BruHealth app on mobile device -Guests who fail to present all required documents will be denied boarding. Passengers are not allowed to enter and transit. – This does not apply to: – nationals and permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam; – passengers with a diplomatic passport. They must have an Entry Travel Pass letter issued by The Government of Brunei Darussalam and a return/onward ticket; – members of the Armed Forces; – until 30 June 2021, passengers with an Entry Travel Pass letter issued by The Government of Brunei Darussalam if arriving from a country other than Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka. They must have stayed in the country of departure for the last 14 days before departure. 2. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure. – This does not apply to nationals and residents of Brunei Darussalam. 3. Passengers with an Entry Travel Pass letter issued by The Government of Brunei Darussalam must have a confirmed hotel reservation and download the BruHealth app in their mobile device. – This does not apply to passengers with a diplomatic passport. 4. Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 RT-PCR test upon arrival. 5. Passengers must have a proof of payment for the PCR test. – This does not apply to passengers with a diplomatic passport. 6. Passengers could be subject to quarantine. 7.
