BANGKOK (Reuters) -Thailand on Sunday extended tighter containment measures in the capital and high-risk provinces probably until the end of August in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19 as the country deals with its biggest outbreak to date.

Bang Sue station successfully cracks down on vaccination booking corruption

Donated Pfizer vaccine passed to Thai government on Monday, some medics eligible for shots

Survey shows most Thais seriously concerned about the worsening pandemic

A vast majority of Thai people still have serious concerns about the worsening COVID-19 pandemic. The level of happiness, among people in Bangkok and the newly designated ‘dark red’ provinces, has decreased by 2% from June, according to a survey conducted by the Hakuhodo Institute of Life and Living ASEAN (Thailand) in collaboration with Socius.
