webfact
The Chatchai market, in Thailand’s resort town of Hua Hin, has been ordered to close for three days from Monday, after 30 people connected to the market were found to be infected with COVID-19. The mayor of Hua Hin, Nopporn Wutthikul, and his team visited the Chatchai market today (Sunday) to inform traders there about the need to close the market. The traders, numbering about 300, did not oppose the decision as several residents have expressed concern about the plan to reopen the resort town to all tourists from November 1st, noting that tourists may be discouraged from visiting if new infections are not curbed. gk10012001
How many of the 30 connected people had been vaccinated? I have no doubts that the more people you test, the more positives you will find, and many if not most of them had or have little or no symptoms.

Anutin convinced the UK that infections are dropping drastically, managed by only citing one testing method. Amazing Thailand.

smedly
The only thing attracking interest in Thailand right now is the never ending covid comedy show, throw in the TAT and it is hilarious

I suspect this pattern is something we're going to have to live with.

There were 3,000 severe cases reported today in Thailand. Those mild cases can infect the next person who may need to be hospitalized. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thai-rural-doctors-society-claims-covid-19-infections-are-rising-not-falling/

I would say less than half of people have had any type of vaccine as yet in Hua hin. Whether that be because people don’t want it or because people can’t get it here yet I can’t really comment on but for sure, the number will not be 90+ of people vaccinated here.
