How to retire in Thailand
If your visa is a Non-IMM O (Usually got in country or from an Embassy in a nearby country) then you do not need medical insurance. If your visa is a Non-IMM OA (Always got from home country or a country where you have permanent residency rights) then you will need Health Insurance. When you leave Thailand your 90 day report requirements stop & restart at Day 1 when you re-enter so if you came left Thailand on 1st June there would be no need to do your 90 day report on 30th June & when you came back on 30th August your next 90 day report would be due 27th November. -

Man Dies as Car Pushes Pickup Along Road Before Plunging Into Ditch: Chanthaburi
Picture from responders. A car showroom employee driving a white Honda City on Sukhumvit Road in Chanthaburi, crashed into the rear of a red Toyota pickup truck and pushed it for a distance before both vehicles careened into a roadside ditch. The 77-year-old passenger in the rear of the pickup, Mr. Anan, lost his life at the scene, while a mysterious bystander complicated the situation by rummaging through the wreckage, looking to steal items. Police Lieutenant Colonel Chatchai Chaiphet, an investigator from Thung Bencha Police Station, received a report of a fatal accident involving a collision between a car and a pickup on Sukhumvit Road near Ban Nong Talin, in Song Phi Nong sub-district, Tha Mai district, Chanthaburi province. CCTV footage from a nearby agricultural store captured the incident.(see below). Upon arriving at the scene, rescue workers found the red Toyota pickup truck with registration number Chanthaburi, lodged in a drainage ditch with the rear section of the vehicle completely detached. Inside the wreckage was the driver, still seated in his vehicle, who was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. The white Honda City, registration number Chanthaburi, driven by 41-year-old Mr. Ekachai, was found crashed into the chassis of the dismembered pickup. The front of the car was severely damaged, and Mr. Ekachai, a resident of Thung Bencha and an employee at a local car dealership, sustained minor injuries. In a state of shock, he was unable to provide a clear account of the events and awaited further questioning by the police. Eyewitnesses Mr. Chanchai, 20, and Mr. Chonlawit, 23, who work at the nearby fertiliser shop, reported hearing a loud crash before seeing the Honda push the pickup for some distance, eventually veering off the road into the ditch. The impact had thrown Mr. Anan's body from the rear of the pickup. His wife, Mrs. Phakamart, 67, later confirmed his identity and reported that he had been on his way to repair a grass cutter with a worker when the fatal accident occurred. As police and rescue teams worked to clear the wreckage, the situation took a bizarre turn when an unidentified man on a motorcycle arrived at the scene, claiming to be the son of the deceased and attempting to search the pickup for valuables. However, the real son and the widow were already present, providing information to the authorities. When questioned, the man, believed to suffer from a mental illness, denied knowing the victim and was released after police found no illegal items in his possession. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident, reviewing evidence from the scene and CCTV footage to ensure a fair resolution for both parties involved. What did your parents die of?
The number of "bad" foods would take as many pages as this forum gets on tax issues but is at least factual. The best place if one does read and comprehend ENGLISH text are the two diet books of Dr. William Li a Harvard heart specialist, researcher and other titles. These two best sellers can be found in a Bangkok boodstore. Seed oils are among the bad foods. Subce huis bviijs cane out as best sellers, there are also You tube videos of various good and bad diet practices. The only valid ones IMHO are those that also give the user laboratory analysis and testing that proves the good or bad. best of luck as "good" food can also taste great. To see the results of "bad" diet, google US disease rates caused by fake "nutritious foods" with artificial coloring and tastes while the real food is nutritious. -

Pattaya Cracks Down on Illegal Immigrants to Protect World-Class Tourist Image
"world-class tourism image." However, they failed to mention what world they are referring to. One in our solar system or, an drug induced world. Haven't been there in years and if the wife and I want a quick beach get away, we'll got to Hua Hin and stay at or near Takiap Thong village where the beach is nice and uncrowded and the wife can still get a 1.5 hour oil massage on the beach for around $300 baht. -

Fire Destroys Three Traditional Thai Houses in Nong Khai
Picture and video from responders. A fierce fire has consumed three traditional Thai wooden houses in Nong Khai, with authorities suspecting the cause to be an electrical short circuit. The blaze was reported at 08:30 on September 27, by Police Lieutenant Jakrapong Tongtaem of the Nong Khai Provincial Police Station. The fire occurred at a residence located behind Jang Sawang Market in Nong Kom Ko subdistrict, Nong Khai City. Authorities, including Police Colonel Yuttana Ngamchat and firefighters from the local subdistrict and municipal fire departments, were quickly dispatched to the scene. The fire engulfed a traditional Thai-style wooden house, owned by Mr. Thanet (surname withheld), located at No. 279, Village 8, Nong Kom Ko. At the time of the incident, only his brother, Mr. Thanakorn (surname withheld), was at home. The property consisted of three adjacent Thai-style wooden houses, and the flames spread rapidly, consuming all three homes. Firefighters worked for about an hour to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring properties. According to reports, Mr. Thanakorn was resting when the fire started. Local residents spotted smoke billowing from the house and shouted warnings. Mr. Thanakorn rushed out and attempted to extinguish the flames with water, but his efforts were in vain. He then called for help. Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit, potentially due to rainwater seeping into an outdoor electrical socket. The exact extent of the damage has yet to be assessed, and authorities will conduct a more thorough investigation to determine the precise cause of the fire. Officials are warning the public to take extra precautions with electrical outlets, particularly ensuring they do not get wet in the rain, as this could lead to similar dangerous incidents. -- 2024-09-28 RPReplay_Final1727421046.mp4 -

Volunteer Non-Immigrant O Visas
No, there is no specific income ceiling requirement for the Non-Immigrant O (Volunteer) visa in Thailand. The primary focus is on ensuring that the applicant is genuinely volunteering for a non-profit organization or government agency and is not seeking employment. However, it's important to note that you may need to provide proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in Thailand. This could include bank statements or other financial documents. The exact amount required may vary depending on the individual circumstances and the length of your stay. -

World class tourist image?? Perhaps it is "world class" for those more aligned with Gary Glitter's, (Paul Gadd), and Jimmy Saville's idea of world class 'quality'! 🤔🫣🤐🤫 -
