M'sians Are Inviting Bruneians To See The Film In Sarawak!

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a Marvel film, was recently banned in various countries, including Brunei.
The prohibition is thought to be the result of the introduction of America Chavez, a character in the comics who looks to be a member of the LGBTQ community.

Given Brunei's proximity to Malaysia, residents have extended an invitation to Bruneians to view the film in Malaysia instead.

One Cineplex Brunei user turned to Facebook to express their regret for having to cancel the movie's showings.

"We have to break the news to you with a sorrowful heart.
Brunei will not be able to see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
We know how excited everyone was to see this movie, and words can't explain how we feel.
We apologise for the inconvenience and inability to deliver," said One Cineplex Brunei.

Malaysians, on the other hand, have flocked to the post's comment area to urge Bruneians to see the upcoming blockbuster in Sarawak and other parts of Malaysia.
