That's what will happen if less cannabis is around.

Less than last year when it was illegal... what have you been  smoking?

Thongchai reminded the public that cannabis should only be for medical use with the aid of a doctor and not used for parties or events.

So why are there cannabis shops on almost every corner in some areas, when a pharmacy surely would have been able to dispense this medicine?

While the mantra elsewhere is "Drink/drugs and driving don’t mix",the mantra proven here is "Thais and driving don’t mix" . Notwithstanding any exacerbation by the former additives!

And as if to prove my point I now just discovered the article about a bus crash while drivers tried to swap without stopping the bus ! ????‍♂️. The next one will have to feature IQs !

Huh?

This is not an accurate assessment of the legal status of cannabis use. Recreational use is NOT illegal. Yes, there are limitations on recreational use.

Sending mixed-messages does more harm.

Ho, ho, ho

So the Muppets are going to go to every village and sniff out Anutins ganja brigade, what a complete joke.

The BiB will be too busy talking to their Mia nois to leave the station...

Not sure we should take this obscure departments view into consideration. The Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine. Please tell me they don't have a say in cannabis laws or any laws for that matter.

What a complete and utter mess...

Anutins baby being used in every other way possible except for medicinal purposes which was supposed to be it's intended use.. jumped on by the Thai public as a way of an earner...

complete madness and free-for-all.

When reporters asked him if authorities will be inspecting suspicious parties that may be associated with cannabis, Thongchai responded police will be tied up with monitoring other New Year activities such as drinking that will increase the risk of road accidents

Not able to multi-task then?

Some decent stuff lately, how about you?
Wasn't Thailand STILL in the pandemic last year? With ridiculous quarantines upon visiting?

A "Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine" has powers of arrest / search, etc.? ????

Yes, at some point they were requiring people to stay in these quarantine hotels.... I did not think it ridiculous. I welcomed the idea, people needed to get back to their homes and families, and this was a way that could happen, without infecting the country for those already living here... of which I was one.
