Appreciate any advice as to how best to watch NFL and US college football in Thailand.

I think i have to use a VPN...recommendations on good choice?

Then do i use sling for college?
Any other choices beside sling for college/espn?

What about NFL...don't need every single game shown but would like to get a basic schedule with few every week.

Really don't want to spend a small fortune if anyway around it.

Thanks for first hand experience advice.

Get an IPTV, although this year youtube is taking over the NFL package so don't know what to expect.

not looking to spend this much...care more about college than nfl....of course can always watch games or a least highlights on you tube for free after games are over which is what i did last year...not ideal which is why i hope to find better solution for upcoming season...

YouTube TV offers NFL Sunday Ticket at $349 per season.

I pay $40 usd every 3 months and get everything US tv has to offer. Hopefully even with youtube taking over there will still be local games on broadcast tv, then I'll get all of them for sure. Although living in Thailand I usually only watch the games that are on in the morning here, night in US.

No VPN needed in Thailand. Send me a PM and I'll let you know who I use.

Then do i use sling for college?

I do two things..

1.  I keep a year round subscription for general TV viewing with the Sling TV Blue plan for $45 per month. By using a VPN that geolocates to one of the big city markets, I get local market football games on the Fox, NBC and ABC outlets (but not CBS via Sling). Plus TNT and TBS for college games. (And a lot of other U.S. cable TV channels unrelated to football.)

As you probably know, you could opt for a combined Sling Blue and Orange plan for I believe $60 per month, which adds access to the various ESPN channels.

2. But specifically for NFL, I also opt for the $10 a month NFL+ streaming plan (which also requires a US VPN). You don't get live games with that (other than on mobile devices), but you do get VOD video of ALL games pretty quickly after they have concluded, and thereafter.

Since Sling added ABC local channels in various big city markets earlier this year, the service's use with VPNs has become more funky and troublesome, with it producing a lot of VPN errors with various VPN providers.

In my experience thus far, Nord VPN seems to be the most compatible with using Sling right now, but it will require some experimentation to find the right server to work well with and get the particular geographic market/locals you want to view.

As for the NFL's streaming service, I've never paid attention to the NFL's very expensive live games Sunday Ticket service, because, here in Thailand, live games typically are on between the hours of midnight and 7 am, when most people locally are sleeping. In my case, I'm content to have a regular night's sleep and then wake up Monday morning and watch whatever games I want via NFL+.

Live games video only on mobile devices. No VOD games after.

Live games on mobile devices. VOD replay games on all devices

Last year, I took the $10 a month package for 5 months -- Sept to January, and then watched the playoffs entirely on Sling.

If you want to get out and about I-Rovers on LK Metro have all the later NFL games on (from 07:00)

Many an 03:00 game watched there pre-covid when they were 24 hours, but 07:00 probably a bit more responsible (they had all the college games on as well)

Thanks for this. I had these channels on a link last year but for some reason it suddenly got blocked and needed a VPN. Your link works great so happy to have these 100 channels back plus it's where I watched all my NFL last year ????

Been using sportsurge for a few years now. Got all the NFL/College ball and NBA games last year. Just watched my Giants beat the Reds in MLB, and now alternating between the MMA fights and the Crawford/Spence boxing match. A good day for sport.

These free links are some I was using successfully last year to watch NFL. A bunch of my other links seem to not work now.  Android boxes are good too, but there is some cost with them.

$US68 or around Bingsport, NFL not sure about college football but they have a lot of sports of course lots of soccer, only trouble is view live only except for Premier league and maybe champions league which have "catch up option".

Until this year, I was using NFL Game Pass International to watch any game and their reruns for around $200-$225 for the year, if I remember correctly.  This year the NFL has contracted with www.dazn.com/en-TH/home, same price as last year , which I pay by my US credit card.  There is no need for using a VPN since it is international.  As a matter of fact, when I first signed up, I went through using a VPN, but they are sophisticated enough to disallow accessing through a VPN "domestically."

College football, another issue.  I am an Ohio State fan, so I listen to internet radio.  Can't do ESPN.  Maybe this year, Youtube TV but fairly expensive with all the various networks carrying various games.  Good luck here.

There are other less expensive official/legal options available provided you have a U.S. IP address:

Both plans above also are available with month-to-month options. And, once the season starts and progresses, the NFL typically reduces the price of their annual plan in stages at several points during the season.

https://id.nfl.com/subscriptions/select/nflplus

I had an annual NFL+ Premium subscription that I took out toward the latter part of last season for $30 or so... It was due to continue thru July 30, and I canceled it so it would not auto renew now, and I'll probably choose a monthly NFL+ Premium plan ($10 a month) at the start the season, the same as I did last year.

But just the other day, the NFL sent me an email saying my prior annual NFL+ Premium subscription was being extended -- for free -- until the first week of September, so in effect, for the entire duration of the upcoming preseason, which was a nice perk.

The previously named Game Pass International service was OK for people who didn't have or didn't want to bother with using a U.S. IP address. But the U.S. version, formerly Game Pass and now called NFL+, is considerably less expensive.

Free websites come and go, look for new ones if these don't work.

These are the two i have been using for a ton of free sports live and the replays.

Lots of pop ups but so what I watch everything.

Just now watched WWC. Bring on Sweden.

Are you happy with DAZN so far? I see a lot of complaints, both on the billing side, and the video streaming side.

I assume they offer the exact same services that GamePass International did? All games, live, Red Zone, All-22, etc?

What kind of video resolution do you get with this service via a VPN? All games are delayed, ~ 40+ minutes, right?

Is access via an app, website, both?

I think you're asking about what now is called NFL+ (they keep changing the damn name of the service every year.. and it used to be known as NFL Game Pass.)

That's the U.S. domestic version (meaning you have to be using a U.S. IP address... You can listen to all games live via either the home or away radio broadcasts...

But more to the point, you can watch ALL NFL games via VOD, with access usually beginning within a few minutes AFTER the end of the live game.

Note: in the past, they also used to make the service unavailable during the hours when ANY national NFL broadcast was occurring.... meaning the early Sunday game could be finished but you wouldn't be able to watch it VOD until AFTER the live late game finished.  But I don't know if that particular rule still applies this year.

The NFL+ subscription service is available both via the NFL.com website on a computer or mobile device browser, but also on streaming devices like the Fire TVs and Android TVs via the NFL app.

They have a cheaper version that only allows VOD games on mobile devices, and then a more expensive option that also allows VOD games on all devices. Both plans are available either on a monthly or season-long basis.

I always watch via the NFL app on my Fire TV or Android TV boxes using the NFL app installed on each. I have 3BB 1Gig fiber at home, and typically can get single stream rates from the US via my various VPN providers of anywhere from 15 to 25 Mbps, which is more than enough to support full HD streaming. The video resolution within the NFL app on my TVs is very crisp.

The regular NFL+ (live radio games and VOD games on mobile devices only) is $7 per month or $40 for the year.

The NFL+ Premium service is $15 per month or $80 for the year. It now includes NFL Red Zone access on Sundays, VOD replays of all games on any devices (including 1 hour condensed game and all 22 coaches film versions), live game audio with home or away radio feeds, etc).

Both plans this year now also include 24/7 access to the NFL Network cable channel via NFL.com or the NFL app.

https://www.nfl.com/plus/learn-more

I've always liked NFL GamePass or now NFL+ over what used to be NFL Game Pass International (and what is now DAZN) because the latter are far more expensive and I rarely saw the value of staying up from midnight to 7 am TH time overnight to watch lives games when I normally would be sleeping.

By comparison, I price checked DAZN for NFL the other day, and was quoted a rate of 7,000 baht for the season, which is about $200 US.... which is considerable premium price beyond the $80 rate of NFL+ Premium.

For my favorite teams, I'll usually watch the full game version, which includes the announcer introductions and some half-time content, etc etc).

But for other games, I really like NFL+'s 1 hour condensed game videos, which show you every play in the game from start to finish. But cut out all the other extraneous commentary and other stuff that occurs during a typical broadcast. It's a great time saver.
