Harris has the joyful energy and communication skills to both communicate a positive Fresh freedom vision of democratic leadership and painting the dark dystopia truth of a second term for the felonious dotard.

Unfortunately that joyful energy only excited people who would never vote for a Republican anyway.

It's honestly surreal to imagine that anyone can have the impression of Harris that Jingthing outlines above.  Any sensible person finds her completely fake and creepy.  It can only be that they hate Donald Trump, or want their side to win, so much, that they convince themselves of the unbelievable.

The politically incorrect answer is someone that can have a child.

Harris wasn't their only mistake. HRC was wrong too. Had she not been the candidate it's likely the Dems would have won and we'd be spared zillions of posts whining about Trump ever since.

Don't worry you got 4 more years to hear all about it. 😁

Manchin and Sinema have very little support among democrats so pushing them is silly. I agree Harris is over as a presidential option.

Let's focus on the midtrrms first and see if congress can be flipped.

You are right.  Sinema and Manchin are done.  I was merely pointing out the DEM party has to have better candidates than Kamala in 2028.  IMO it will be someone we (well me anyway) aren't familiar with.  I think the DEM party will drift back towards center before the midterms which will help them then.

I'm making no predictions. I wouldn't be shocked to see AOC.

I would love to see that. If the dems really don't wake up they will be in the wilderness for decades. AOC isn't going to get you invited back onto the reservation. Simple suggestion to my liberal friends meant in the most helpful, friendly way. Try picking from people that are sane.

Given what grandpa has been up to, her doing nothing is a favor to us all.

If they do they are retarded..   She would lose to any decent GOP candidate by a large margin.  I suspect their candidate will come from someone not associated with the fringe of the party.  Keep in mind they want to win and they have to convince the money people they can win.

Yeah, the dems will all pretend to be MAGA fascist come the midterms.

That is a good point.  I am projecting here but I think the leadership of the DEM party isn't stupid enough to repeat something like that.  Maybe I give them too much credit.  We shall see.

President Biden is the de facto leader of the Democrat party.

The left's policies are not popular in the US. They used to be able to control the dialog using legacy media, but that is no longer the case, because everyone know they are liars, and they will likely never regain their credibility.

Democrats need to change their policy positions.

When you divide the county up into different groups, you have to change the message for every group.

Trump's message was the same to every group

That was one of the biggest divides between Trump and Kamala.  Regardless of which side you are on it was easy to see Kamala was a chameleon changing roles and positions based on who was in front of her at the moment.  She was fake.  Trump, love him, hate him, or in between, is clearly a real person and had positions he staked out regardless of audience.

The DEMs need to learn you can not be all things to all people.

No, they need to keep doing what they are doing.
