Toppings for toast?

Scrambled egg & green onions
Sauté onions, mushrooms, garlic & cheese   Italian style
Sliced banana & peanut butter
If I could get good tomatoes, which I can't, they are great with many additions.
Poached egg, garlic dill yoghurt & hot sauce - Turkish egg variant on toast.

Use hot sauce & parmesan liberally, or favorite condiment.

If you have a grill. Toast one side of your bread. On the untoasted side smash a banana, put on bacon & top with cheese. Put under the grill. Also ok with pineapple instead of the banana.

If you use a toaster & the bread isn't too thick you can put both slices into one slot to get the bread toasted on one side, makes for a much nicer toastie 🙂

I generally just put a dab of margarine on mine. Rather butter, but the real stuff is a bit pricey here.

I made some apple jelly which is nice.  Out of my apple butter which was best. Need to go to the temple market for another batch of tired but cheap apples. As for cider the old ones are a bit better.

Beans on toast  is easy and good roughage.

Poached egg in microwave on toast ....good protein

Microwave, should not in any form be used for food at the same time as the words nice and good.
