Where can I get a Justice of the Peace to sign a copy of my Australian passport

Featured Replies

I need to have a copy of my Australian passport witnessed & signed by a Justice of the Peace,  to send some documents to Australia.

Does anyone know where is a more convenient JP on Sukhumvit in Bangkok ....   other than that I believe it has to be done at the Australian Embassy over near Wireless rd, Lumphini and it's  1,000 baht to use   ?

Thanks ..

another question ....

Below it indicates a JP or Solicitor ....   so is a Thai Lawyer considered a solicitor  ?  is there a solicitor in Bangkok   ?

The Australian Embassy charge for notoriety is  AUD$85  or 1,870 baht.

Do you really think that the authorities in Australia know a real JP from a fake one?  Yonks ago, I had an ink stamp made up - something like "Khun Dippypong pornsuk - registered lawyer and notary".  I used it many times to stamp documents that required a lawyer/notary stamp...... never had any comeback!

Search Google for Notary Public Bangkok.

My last one was 500thb
