I have lived in Thailand for a while, and I am sick of all these guys who chill, relax, party, shag hookers, smoke weed, eat mushrooms... and then they ask for discounts and expect business owners to subsidise all the partying they had.

 

Then they only ask for the easy jobs full time jobs like bar management or dj but don't try too hard,  they wont apply for serious jobs in Bangkok

 

Then when someone gives/lends them money,  they are out in bars again partying, shagging hookers, then they don't have money to pay their bills, then they play the victim card again...  and more people give them money.    A friend of mine the other day gave a guy money because he's going through lots of problems, and I said all of his problems come from his drug use (cocaine). These druggies use their problems as an excuse to take drugs and get drunk, but the problems are caused by their addictions.

 

Many of these farangs act like they are owed to live in Thailand and act like they are a charity...  living here is a privilege that you need to earn!

 

Please stop lending money or helping these types of people.  I get bored of people coming to me with their problems because while they have been chilling, relaxing and partying, I have been working to make sure I can stay living in Thailand.

All these broke asses have something in common, they hang out on forums all day, make long posts, argue about politics, like to chill or relax, spend 10 hours looking for a discount instead of working, they generally waste their time, and they turn their phones off at night or weekends.  Also they don't adapt, they carry excuse cusions. I could go on and on.

All the hardworking people will agree with me, and all the broke bums will disagree, but I hope this post at least makes one person see through the BS that these guys are pulling just to avoid real work!

 

There are plenty of happy broke people here, and that's fine...  my rant is about the guys overindulging when they don't have the funds and now lean on good natured people.

Back to the topic......not much you can do about lowlife, lots coming here these days.

They bother me, I very rarely mingle where these folks are these days. 

I don't have this problem....

I don't hang around with any of the "at risk" crowd or, the places they congregate....

I'm probably missing some good times - but oh-well....
