Trump wins on the Stormy case as sentencing delayed "indefinitely".

No, a felony conviction is not considered "complete" before sentencing. Here’s how the process works:

  1. Conviction: A conviction occurs when a person is found guilty of a felony, either through a guilty plea or a verdict at trial. This establishes the person's culpability for the crime.
  2. Sentencing: After a conviction, the case proceeds to the sentencing phase, where the court determines the punishment. This phase involves reviewing various factors, such as the severity of the offense, the defendant’s criminal history, and any mitigating or aggravating circumstances.

Although the legal finding of guilt (the conviction) is established before sentencing, the case itself is not fully resolved until sentencing is completed. At that point, the judicial process is finalized unless there are appeals or post-conviction relief efforts.

Thanks. He is a convicted felon awaiting sentencing. Correct statement, the case is not complete until sentencing.

Now this really is taking the piss! A "right to a speedy trial under due process"; Trump's defence in this case, and indeed in all the others, state and federal, has been designed around delaying the process until the recent election, in the hope that after winning he could dismiss the federal cases and stymie the state cases.

Throw in a liberal measure of good old fashioned mafia gangster thuggery, not so subtle threats to juries, allegations about judges and their family members that if generated by any other defendant would have resulted in them being imprisoned for contempt

It worked, but it has resulted, not in justice being served but in cynical manipulation of the " due process", which has allowed him to escape justice, putting the boot into the idea of the rule of law and turning the US judicial system and it's political processes into a laughing stock. Now we have piteous bleats about "lawfare, judicial bias and political prosecutions" interspersed with thunderous demands for revenge and retribution. It has marked (tainted) his administration from even before it assumes office, as I said, turning the US judicial system and it's political processes into a laughing stock; perhaps doing terminal damage to those institutions.

And now to await to see if he follows through on going after those of us who witnessed Jan. 6, had access to the truthful reporting of the Georgia election interference attempt, the historically documented call for Pence to not certify the election. He will not escape the factual, documented history ...

No not legally speaking. It needs the sentence to be imposed to stamp it as final.

Sad part is, after another 4 years he will be sentenced prison at age 86. Imagine dying in prison at that age. At least Melania will have another 20 years or so of a normal life.

Its already been announced by a former NY judge .Anyone saying otherwise believes  in lies and misinformation . He ain’t a convicted felon!Time stamp 3:26

Your post is more of an opinion piece than fact, lacking credible or reliable sources. Let’s set the record straight:

  1. Trump's Conviction: Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts in the Stormy Daniels case. According to New York law CPL § 380.20, a conviction is official once a jury finds a defendant guilty, and sentencing happens separately.

  2. Andrew Napolitano: Napolitano served as a judge in New Jersey, not New York, so his perspective doesn’t carry weight on this case. His tenure (1987–1995) doesn't make him an authority here.

  3. Newsmax and Napolitano’s Credibility: Both are unreliable. Newsmax often pushes biased narratives and conspiracy theories, while Napolitano’s commentary is regularly criticized for lacking factual rigor and objectivity. In 1998 he worked for Fox News until he was reportedly sacked following allegations of sexual misconduct, he then joined Newsmax.

Your accusations of "lies" come across as ironic given your own misleading claims. Credible reliable sources should be the foundation of your argument, not bold, unsupported statements.

In the fullness of time the real reason this gutless Judge could not follow through with a sentence appropriate to the findings  of a jury will possibly be made known.

As it stands the indefinite stay simply demonstrates the monetized inequity of the US justice system.

A conviction isn't really official until the sentencing. This is why a defendant will shown up to sentencing in clothes of their choice for example. Once you are sentenced yeah then you become state property.

SENTENCING occurs post-conviction . He's officially convicted.
