You clearly didn't know what you meant either. Maybe you can ponder your own behavior for a while, writing absolute gibberish and then not wishing to explain yourself.

I 100 know what I  meant. Does everyone need to be spoon fed? Use ur effin brain for once.

Well I gave you a possible and plausible explanation of what you said, and you denied that that was the correct explanation. Then you didn't care to explain more.

Blah, blah, blah, no you DID NOT. You demanded to be spoon fed, to not engage your own grey matter. It's not up to me to think FOR YOU. I'll toss out thoughts - you parse them. J.C. does this need to be said?

I suppose that if you are engaging in a discussion and you don't wish to explain yourself further if your discussion partner doesn't understand what you are implying, the discussion is basically over.

I want to thank you for probably the first serious response to my question, which is very serious as well.

Regular updates would be a bonus, but are not an absolute requirement for me. I also realize that it might hit me harder than I think to see photos of my child without having any involvement in the child's life. I'm willing to take this risk.

I recently read a story about I believe a Dutch guy who fathered more than 500 children. Many of the women are sending him regular updates and he even regularly meets up with some of the kids, but some women prefer to not have any father in their children's lives whatsoever. Now 500 is a bit much and irresponsible for sure, especially with the risk of incest, but I don't see what the problem is with such an arrangement otherwise.

Except for the fact that one could claim that a western man fathering a child with a Thai woman who is economically less capable and then not supporting her financially is not responsible either, but I would say it entirely depends on the situation and circumstances. I know Thai women who make over 2.5 million THB a year.

Yeah, I don't fully agree with it, as I think a child needs both a supportive mother and father.  That being said, a ton of garbage people have kids and treat them terribly, so simply writing off the idea of different kinds of parenting is not exactly logical.

I think one obstacle you face is that foreigners are really not that popular in Thailand.  Mixed kids actually don't have that great a life in Thailand and get targeted for bullying a lot.  They get called "half-blood" and often cannot really fit in completely.

https://aseannow.com/topic/1328590-sexual-assault-in-an-international-school/  (User's mixed girl being repeatedly sexually assaulted.)

You might have more luck if you try another ASEAN country, possibly Vietnam.  They like White people a lot more there, and I would imagine that a well off, older, single Vietnamese woman would be a lot more like the women you talk about doing this in your home country.

This discussion was over from the get go, given that it spurred out of an imagination and will remain there.
