I think you perhaps missed the initial comment this has arisen from. Trasman claimed that it was 'one of your own' as in a Rep that tried to off Don.

I questioned that there has been no further coverage since, which raises suspicions to me that he wasn't a Republican after all, other wise the media would be to quick to use it against trump.

Didnt matter did it, he still won hands down. In fact the last four years nonstop attacks didn't matter, they failed, massive back fire, now they control everything

I made a quick search and it seems he has no clear political stance and alternatively supported both parties.
