It’s starting , a new day in America,Chris Wray is gone!

FBI Director Christopher Wray announced Wednesday he was stepping down as head of the bureau, just days after Republicans expressed a loss of confidence in him.

Something tells me he’ll be sitting next to another ex , Andy MCCabe,

in a  Cnn activist roll.

It seems under the Vacancies Act as above, Wray has handed Trump a nice going away present in that it would much better for Trump if Wray had waited until AFTER Patel had been confirmed (if he eventually is) to resign or be fired rather than on the (morning of) the day that Trump takes office.

While others would be qualified for an immediate interim appointment, Patel would not be.

FBI= Famous but incompetent.  They are mostly book worms and computer geeks.  Very few have any real field experience.  Add, there are way too many law enforcement agencies in the U.S.  And, they mostly hate each other and do not trust one another.  The entire system needs a do over, updated training adjustments and renewed focus.

The worst thing a decision-maker can do is to surround himself with 'YES' people.  It results in 'tunnel vision' and inability to think outside the box.  The second Trump presidency is already shaping up as an even bigger disaster than the first.

So according to you, when President of USA you should surround yourself with " no " people. People actually against you? Can you elaborate on this?

The failure of not stopping the 9/11 terrorists even after they had been spotted is a good example of the lack of coordination and cooperation of these agencies you speak of.  Things have improved, but now it is local law enforcement that have been ordered not to cooperate with federal agencies.  I am referring to orders by mayors and governors subscribing to the resistance movement regarding immigration issues.

In the past, the U.S. military also had a similar problem.  That too, has mostly been fixed.

It seems that the fastest and most efficient way to fix the problem is to cut funding.

When people ask me what I think Trump will do I tell him to just stop. Conjecture is worthless and just causes emotional distress.

What I tell them is no matter what you can imagine what will actually happen will be much worse.

Identify Trump's policies that would personally affect you and focus on mitigating any harm for yourself and stop worrying about other people and the problems he's going to cause them.

Americans want accountability in the FBI , Doj ,  state & federal agencies .

Chris Christy’s recommendation of Wray was for the establishment .

Kash will be a agent for accountability!

Looking forward to his confirmation hearing!

We agree … on looking forward to the confirmation hearings and the information brought forth. We can also agree on constant review of laws, regulations and agency oversight. We disagree on Patel being the person fit to carry out a review … I can only judge him on his pledge to shutter the FBI building and opening it the next day as a museum to the deep state and his published enemies list. Yes, I trust he will be summarily stopped …

I'm assuming Wray resigned to protect himself financially. It's a pity he did not stay on in order to give trump brief with firing him. His proposed replacement by trump seems to be a complete prat, like many of trump's nominees. Plus trump filling a number of posts with unqualified family members - nepotism.

Not yet:

12 DEC 2024 -- FBI Director Christopher Wray told employees at an internal town hall on Wednesday that he is resigning, according to sources familiar with the meeting.

He said he is stepping down at the end of the current Biden administration. (my bold)

"After weeks of careful thought, I've decided the right thing for the Bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current administration in January and then step down.

I could care less what you agree with!What I want is accountability , the left calls it retribution! In one of his past interviews he said Americans only know half of the story.

I judged him on his past performance!He “was” the author of Nunes Memo that exposed it all.

Hillary Clinton

Steele

FBI

DOJ

“Republican legislators who favored public release of the memo argued that the memo presents evidence that a group of politically biased FBI employees abused the FISA warrant process for the purpose of undermining the Donald Trump presidency.”

Patel like all of trumps suggested appointees are all suck ups and admittedly so. How is that accountability? There is a concept known as separation of powers for a reason but people like you just want a kiss a$$ in every agency possible and not a real independent agency holding everyone accountable equally

Separation of powers?

DOJ = executive branch

FBI = executive branch

DOD =  executive branch

DOE = executive branch

State Department = executive branch

Treasury = executive branch

Plus 9 other departments.

CIA = executive branch

And EPA, and NASA, and FTC, and SEC and......................

Remind me again where the buck stops?

Unlike you I don't treat Trump as Jesus Christ. Here's another con against the American  people from Trump and he isn't even in power. Just today he back tracked on his ridiculous claim he will lower prices for just about everything which he repeatedly claimed at his rallies. No doubt you will come up with some duck and swerve on behalf of your master - lol

So you're sayin' Trump should take a "Page" out of the democrat playbook?

Why, that's a "Strokz" of genious!

Better "Steele" yourself for what's coming.

Golden showers bring judicial flowers!

Steele was a foreign asset,who conspired with Strokz & others in the FBI & DOJ to malign Trump , Trumps transition team and his administration from enacting agenda!
