Yes I think I have love helping other humans

When we engage in acts of kindness, our brains release feel-good neurotransmitters like dopamine and oxytocin. These chemicals create a sense of pleasure and connection, reinforcing the behavior.

Sharing is traditional and conservative.

When I stay with Hunter Gathers they go out in the forest and get some food they bring it back and share with everyone.

Everyone gets a little bit.

If they didn't they would be considered selfish and would be extracized from the tribe to survive on their own with no help.

Everywhere you go there's always a nutter who doesn't want to follow the society's rules. 😲

No but if you have a family, you can't decide all by yourself.

Sharing increases the chances of survival and reproduction. It's hard-wired into human biology.

If you need help with the mosquitoes, use plenty of DEET.

My old lady stopped the "Good Heart" routine years ago.

Definitely not stupid.  But do check that ALL of your donation is being used to help the deserving kids and homeless people.  Too many rich charity workers driving around in top-of-the-range 4x4s nowadays.....

For me, I never give money to charities.  I go directly to those who deserve charity and make sure that my small amount of $ is used only and directly for their benefit.

Rubbish. No. Sorry. Complete and absolute rubbish. Questions for you and it's just a couple of examples. If sharing is hard wired into "human biology" why is it that some children don't want to share? How do you account for selfish people? Sharing is a virtue not a biological imperative.

Some of these charity bosses are on 6 figure salaries . No way that I would ever give to one of those .

Exactly what I was going to post. You want to help the needy, give them directly, no need to pay for the middleman's Ferrari.

I have heard this lame excuse many times,  when I was a "middlleman" (one of many volunteers).

People who said this were just selfish and wouldn't give to anybody, anyway.
