It's not legally binding so people who want a dog whether they have thought it through or not will sign and get on with it.

It sounds like a simple document that explains what owning a dog entails.  What's the point of complaining about that? 

 

You need to look up the definition of woke.  Some of you guys have been trained to just keep repeating the word "woke" without even knowing what It means.

A dog is not for Christmas, it's for life.

 

Unfortunately, too many people ignore this for many pets.

And then things go wrong.

It can't really hurt to make the people more aware of possible problems.

The meaning of the word changed a lot over the last years. And different groups of people use it differently.

There is no agreed definition of that word.

Too many people buy a puppy at Christmas and release it to the wild once it isn't cute.

People should have to pass a test before owning a live pet.

It's generally nonsense imposed on us by idiots that managed to get into positions of influence, eg the  nonsense "influencers" give people that need to be told what to believe in as they have no functioning brain of their own, baaaaaa.

Yes. But if said dog had a ‘persuasion’ and was whining about past perceived injustices wrought by the evil white man and was completely blown out of proportion, then it could be considered woke. 

Sounds like somebody needs to grow some thicker skin and man up. There's a lot of ignorance in this world, there's a lot of ridiculously woke nonsense, and we just simply have to ignore it rather than letting it get under our skin.

All in favour of dog owners being forced to buy a license. might make them more inclined to keep the wretched things in check.

I like the term "Woke" better than "PC." 

And as far as owning a dog, I think it should be at least as binding as getting a driver's license and a car. And, I think if you don't treat the dog well or abandon it, you should be punished.

Who does it hurt? And maybe it will educate others who don't have your experience.. It is horrible to witness some people mistreating a dog who only wants love...
