They can't even get along with each other.

 

That is one of the fascinating aspects of a 'single' religion .....how it fracture into separate branches that 'hate' each other........I know NI has political dimensions as well....but!!!

If the "New Comers" tries to live peacefully with the people who are already there.

Then, all the parties involved will be nice and happy.

If the new arrivals exercise  apparent hostile gesture or exclusivity, their relationship can/will be tense.

That is just a part of human nature; can't really blame it.

As the mankind is just like a mirror each other.

Any malice on either side, can quickly spread to the whole, especially when the community is very close.

 

In terms of peaceful co-existence of different faiths, Thailand is excellent(except for some Islamic separatists in Deep South).

 

Buddhist and Muslim vendors are often trading side by side, selling their traditional food, part of my daily scenery in the area I frequent...

Religion is one thing.

Cult is another.

 

Religions have some positive aspects; often function as the Moral/Discipline Code among  the less educated people; not everyone in this world has the same level of education taken for granted in the 1st world.

Having neither proper education or (good) religion can  turn the mankind brutal savage(only driven by own desire and greed, lacking consideration to the others).

 

While Cult is only intended to benefit those at the top, through the Brainwash of its followers.

 

I am not into any particular religions.

Still, I look at things that way.

 

I was brought up in a Protestant school from year 7-12.

And my settlement here, often charmed by Thai Buddhism's  merits; compassion, mercy, and leniency toward the different kinds).

There is One Thing I never feel while here: Exclusivity toward the people from the different countries.

 

As long as I respect what they traditionally value, they remain mostly good neighbors. And vice versa...

 

 

Religions are just large cults. Both are based in lies and fraud.
