Thanks o mighty one for correcting me.

Its "O Mighty One"....

"Mighty" is capitalised when used as part of a title or a divine reference.

"One" is capitalised when referring to a specific entity such as myself with reverence.

Now you can thank me for correcting you.... but do so correctly, eh champ !!!...

On the way into the plane, it's similar. As soon as the airline employees come to the gate, people stand up and wait in a row. The row is getting longer and longer, and people wait and wait. What

So... on the subject of air-travel, standing up before the seatbelt sign has turned off... People in a rush to 'deplane'....  etc.   What about those who stand so closely to the baggage

Thank  mr 2ic. I'm glad I could add to your amazing topic. Now I know how long to sit down for on a plane and how to eat at markets. World peace next?

Either way, I would never stand on it or in front of it. That's just rude. I would make sure anyone doing that near me ended up with a trolley on their Achilles or similar.

It seems that you and Nick see me as a bad guy, when I'm not.

I'm just honest, and replied to the post and I voted.

Not at all.....  your comments make a lot of sense....

Though I disagree with 'catching someone in their ankles' with the trolly - that is ayhole behavior.

Reasonable behaviour is just that....   but there are folk who forget themselves.

You dont seem like one of those who'd get up before the seatbelt sign is turned off, or while the plane is moving. You don't seem like one of those who'd crowd the carousel either.

I see parallels with elevators and getting on the sky train.... some people just cant wait for others to get out first.

In these situations, some just have this 'switch' that turns on a fear of missing out and they start acting differently, almost panicked....  and lose sense of 'normal human behavior'....

I'm just about to add the finishing touches...

... its called using the 'ignore function'....      :coffee1:

Useful when a troll makes no valuable comment at all and has persistently proved an utter absense of redeeming features...

I was talking about people who stand directly next to the conveyor belt shoulder to shoulder  and leave no room for anyone to pass .

If people are stood back a bit behind the line, then there's plenty of room to get past them and no need to move them out the way

I like to get on the plane early so I can get my luggage above me. I usually have my camera with me which is an expensive piece of kit, so I don't want it half way down the plane. Getting off, I can wait, but I do sometimes suffer from anxiety when we are not allowed to use the toilet half an hour or so before landing. I'm the type of person who once off the plane will be speeding past people towards immigration. After being stuck on a plane I like to stretch my legs and I've always been a very fast walker. I'm not trying to beat anyone, but it feels so good to properly stretch the legs.

Not sure what drives me nuts more.

People doing that or boarding with 2 carry on bags plus bags rammed with boxes of doughnuts !

How are they allowed to carry so many bags on ?

Pushed my way to the front on landings and a kid asked whether my parents had taught me manners. When you're diabetic and prefer not to pee on sitting passengers, manners comes second.

that must be difficult to explain to disgruntled passengers who just think that you are being tw4t.

You could have gone to the toilet before the plane landed or even used the toilet once the plane had landed

People who stand up and crowd the aisle as soon as the plane lands, when the doors aren’t even open why do you do that?
Just a question and would want to know people’s reasoning behind it ..
The seatbelt sign is still and there’s an echoing of seat belt clicks …
People scurrying to gather their belongings , yet the exit doors are still closed,
They stand impatiently shuffling until the doors open .. Then if you have to jump on a transfer coach you still have to wait for everyone else to get on
And go through the same security and passport control and then on to the same baggage reclaim as everyone else ..
You are literally stressing yourself out

Did you ever ask those people?

The easiest way to find out.🥱🥱🥱

Ask those in the plane. You might realize that nobody will stand up. All other comments here don't picture the reality. Next flight count those standing people and ask why they do this?

And, to be honest, I don't care 🤣

You want to point out how to behave? 🤣

I would be sat down and facing their arse as they are stood up or I,d have to stand up and turn around and speak to the person behind me .

Its not as easy as it sounds

Book a window seat if you don't like arses and farts when people stand up after landing and wait untill they all left. Go as last.🤣

I usually remain seated until all the other people in front have disembarked , then leave when its my turn .

That's the right behaviour. You are what airlines want to have as a passenger. Apply for an award or take a selfie 🤗 as proof.

Then why are you even bothering to read the thread and post ????

Always amusing to read the posts from those who apparently don't care actually having to state they don't care, as if they care so much that others know they don't care... rather than just moving on to the next thread !!!

I normally sit until most others are through the gate. Until now the plane never left without me. Somehow most passengers haven't worked out that part.

I like to get on the flight early so I can get my glass of champagne! 😊

Trust me....  it takes no nerves or brain power to respond to you...   a 5 year old can counter your stupidity when you start trolling and trying to derail threads like this....

Valid point - we can see it in traffic... we see it in airports, we see it in malls...

I recently watched a load of people alight a plane and walk down the corridor, all following the first guy off....  who'd not paid attention to any signage.

Seeing the signs, I went up the escalator....  this caused great confusion behind as a few followed, a few didn't know what to do, a few still thought they should follow the majority down the corridor  !!!

A human traffic jam was created by indecision...
