There's a reason RT is banned in many western locales, and links to same on certain forums.

Compare transcriptions of speeches there to what you find in your local media.  More often than not, you'll find a "journalist's" paraphrased and quote-mined version of what was said massaged to fit the preferred narrative.

Exactly like the lefty CBS did with Kamalas interview? They should be banned by the same rationale? Oh? Why not.....

In the geo political area, US and Europe are, or maybe were, in general aligned. Russia and China are on the other side. So yes, Russia was an opponent and is much weaker now than 3 years ago.

Apparently Russia was always much weaker than Nato.  It has just been exposed by their failures in Ukraine.  Pretty clear now in a non-nuclear war between Nato (with US) and Russia it is very one sided.

Good that Putin’s army has had the c**p fragged out of it in Ukraine.  The Biden administration’s plan worked very effectively there.  The plan was never to help Ukraine defeat Russia, just greatly weaken it to the point that the Russian army couldn’t threaten NATO countries for a very long time.

The Cold War never ended because the Russians never stopped and they never will.

The only threat Russia needs to stop NATO invading it is the nuclear arsenal. Does any European country even have a decent military anymore? I doubt it- run down by decades of budget cuts. The Brits will be OK if it's ever down to the cavalry though- they probably have more horses than the Russians.

Cold war without any actual wars against the west is just peachy IMO. Without the boogeyman there wouldn't be any need for those honour guards for visiting "dignitaries" to inspect on arrival, LOL ( I was in a few of them, a right pain in the butt they were too ).

Rubbish. Biden is senile and he had no plan. Lefties online making up stories 3 years later. What a joke. Many died and you don't care. Its all a plan :cheesy:

The plan IMO was to make shareholders of weapons manufacturers very very rich. On that they exceeded expectations.

Yes SHLD paid 15% for 6 months plus a little dividend.  Not bad.  It use to be taboo to be a weapons manufacturer now everyone sees the money and wants a piece. Palantir, Anduril see the size of the checks the Military Budget is handing out and are tired of dinosaur companies getting paid.

You would need to be very blind, dumb and ignorant to believe that ever happened.  Since its formation in the 90s the SVR has operated the same as the KGB to undermine, weaken and subvert Western interests, especially American.  The only thing that’s held Putin back from expanding his empire further west into Eastern Europe is NATO, hence the reason Putin supports his useful idiots like Trump with that goal.

When President Trump posted that President Zelensky is a dictator without elections,

---------------------------------------------

Trump's Idiocy, at its worst.

Which country can afford the Political Blank Period(absense of the head of the state; decision maker) while facing ongoing mass invasion by land from the neighboring country?

Well, well, the future will look back at history and find out, that Zelensky was nothing but yet another puppet. As long as you take an absolute nobody, put him into a presidential palace, let him outstay his (rigged) welcome, then you know that you're dealing with banana republics.

Zelensky reminds me of Marcos, Lon Nol, the Shah of Persia who got massive help in unseating Mosaddegh, Vang Pao who fled his people and did not understand to the day he died, how he was puppet mastered.

Not forgetting Sadam who was the US's best bud as long as he was fighting the Iranians and a few unsavoury dictators in South America. They even preferred Pol Pot to the Vietnamese who saved the remaining Cambodians.

UM, despite some presidents that think they are military geniuses, the general command usually manage without a president for a few weeks.

BTW, are you not aware that Lloyd George was elected DURING WW1?

As long as I know of, UK didn't become the stage of land battle(unlike continental Europe).

That's the difference(between WW1 UK and today's Ukraine).

Occasionally being air raided is one thing.

But ongoing army battle on its soil  is another.

America entered a long war in Vietnam because it feared the domino effect of Asia becoming Communist. Thailand was its red line.

Now, the west sees that Russia wants to own its former East European colonies and America wants to appease Russia. Ukraine was the red line, now it's like a buffet of eat all you can.

I worry that we are underestimating Russia.

Don't make me laugh. The English-speaking world doesn’t know the first thing about proper spelling. If it did, there wouldn’t be a need for pronunciation keys in every English dictionary.
